Washington State Library — Attraction in Tumwater

A friend and I wanted to see the state library. We started at the Capitol bldg. It's been moved to Tumwater. Takes up a whole bldg. Great place. Most people who go there are doing some kind of research. There's a ton of information there: births, deaths, statistics, maps. The staff were very helpful and kind. James is the greatest, you see her first thing as you enter. The librarian on the second floor where we went was kind and professional. These are people who like their jobs....

The staff here at the Washington State Library are all very nice and helpful. The librarian was incredibly helpful in showing me how to operate the microfilm viewing machines (a difficult task the first time or two that becames easier the more you do it). They're happy to help find what resources you're looking for, and to point you in the right direction on locating other...
