Hot Shotz coffee — Restaurant in Tumwater

The only reason I go here now is due to convenience. I try to always avoid this stand. Before the last 3-4 months I would consider myself a regular. The baristas have never remembered me or make the interaction friendly or nice. My order is almost always incorrect when ordering through DoorDash which is frustrating. I double check to make sure I did not make the mistake by selecting the wrong thing but no everything on my order is selected correctly but almost always WRONG. I pay extra for white coffee and get regular coffee shots. That has resulted in me only getting flavored red bulls and no longer coffee from this stand. Their americanos all have 1-2 shots 12oz to 24oz which is insane! Never seen that anywhere else. A normal 16-24oz Americano comes with 3 shots and up not 2. So I end up paying more for an extra shot that should already come with the size. Please spend more time paying attention to the order details and maybe make more of an effort to make your regular customers feel...

I got a coffee a week or two ago and I was pretty disappointed. The coffee was so-so, the young lady at the register took quite awhile to even show up at the window and then she overcharged me. It was too late to change it once I had paid (I had to be somewhere and didn't want to squabble over it) but the price on the sign was a dollar less than what she charged for that particular size. In addition I looked back while I was waiting on the coffee and saw a sign for Happy Hour, which I was right in the middle of time wise. So I was overcharged even more if you take that into account. I realize this could easily be an accident and had she been prompt at the window and the coffee had been great, I could have given a three or four star review. But both the service and coffee was lacking. Maybe I was there on an off day, but just sharing my experience. Hope this review helps Hot Shotz in improving their service. Not bitter, just honest. Hot Shotz is the best drive thru coffee stand I’ve been to! This stand in Tumwater is a go to in the mornings right after dropping our son off at school. EVERY interaction is kind and friendly, my orders are never incorrectly made, and the service is fast. The baristas are quick and efficient and happy to be there!

Some other places drinks taste basically the same with slight variations, but every intended flavor difference of drink is actually done well and tastes like it’s supposed to! Yay! (White mocha and caramel are different flavors .. hint hint to some larger chain coffee brands.. Hot Shotz does it right!)
