This post office loses mail ALL the time. I've accepted the little things missing but they have lost my wife's passport and a car title. When I tried to find the passport I was told there was no one in office to talk to, so I called and left a message. The only "resolution" I received was a voicemail explaing the mail man left the package in my mailbox until it sat for too long and took it back. That literally could not be possible because I was checking my mail every day when I knew it was on the way. When I called back, again, no one could talk to me, I left a voicemail and NEVER heard back. The lady was so condescending in her voicemail and her mailman was wrong. It HAD to have been in the wrong mail box. It also NEVER returned to the sender - the federal government. They had to completely reissue the passport. When they lost the title I didn't even bother complaining. I just went ahead and filled out an affidavit of lost title and got it notarized. It was easier to pay for that then try to deal with their unprofessional and completely useless customer service. As someone who works on phones helping customers, this place truly gets a 0/10. I now send all important mail to a different location through the Olympia post office and I haven't had a single late or...
Read moreI was hoping living in a different state would change my opinion of usps but alas-it has proven to be consistently terrible. I’ve only lived in this area since October and I’ve now had 3 packages failed to be delivered when they were supposed to. This morning they claim they “attempted delivery” at my apartment complex. They then claimed that the package was “too big” to fit in my mail box. Well no kidding, it’s a small piece of furniture! We have an area in our community office for those kind of drop offs and yet again I’m left without my package that was guaranteed to be here today. You can’t ever get a real person and I won’t received my package for another 3 days due to the holiday. Even though, it was “guaranteed to be here” today. So tired of usps and if I can avoid them in the future, I will. I don’t live in a new complex and I’m sure it’s not their first rodeo delivering here....
Read moreI stopped by the United States Postal Service, 200 Israel Rd SE, Tumwater, WA 98501 to mail some letters while here on business in Tumwater.
It is literally just down the street from my office so it was super-easy to find it. It sits just off of Capitol Boulevard SE.
Once you turn it is really easy to see from the street. And they have a drive up access road to drop mail off from your vehicle.
Great little post office right...
