Extremely terrible customer service and management. By the generic company replies that don't address a single issue in these reviews and seeing how no employees are expected to meet a certain standard, I'm not surprised.
I come in to pick up an online order and I'm barely greeted by the manager who's working front counter, Cydnee, who asks me who the order is for after being short and rude to a delivery driver in front of me. I give her the name and she asks if it's a mobile order or delivery - all of them are mobile orders whether they're deliveries or customer pickups. I answer her several times, but she doesn't hear me and keeps asking with an attitude. Finally she hears then turns around and mumbles, When I say mobile order or delivery say the right one. Then she proceeds to yell at the kitchen staff, complain about orders not being out, and be completely unprofessional. I am not a DQ employee and it isn't my fault that you don't listen and are miserable at your job. Do not speak to customers and delivery drivers that way, and do something about it store manager - who was standing a few feet away in the drive thru.
I've seen and heard of several complaints about her and a select few other employees there, yet management never addresses it or implements retraining or correction for their regular staff, shift leads, shift managers, store managers, or regional management. The owner really should get more involved before his staff causes business to keep going down with customers and delivery partners since they are getting reported because of poor customer service, long wait times, and wrong or missing...
Read moreI tried to get a job here. I handed in my resume with a recommendation from my previous job. Checked back in a couple of times. The hiring manager would just tell me to write my name down and she'd call me later. One of my friends works there, so I knew for a fact they were hiring. They hired on like 10 people. For no reason at all, two other employees lied to me and told me that the hiring manager had tried to call me 4-5 and that I never answered my phone. Apparently, she had assumed that I was not interested in a job anymore. I've gotten calls from other people, businesses for job interviews (I'm in the process of searching for a job), etc. They all work fine. It was not my fault they were not able to get a hold of me. I just had a successful job interview (that I received a call from on the phone that I gave to DQ btw), so I'm not really upset that I didn't get a job specifically here. I'm more upset that the hiring manager just had (presumably) two workers lie to me, for no apparent reason at all. I'd rather she just told me when I walked in that she wasn't going to hire me.
