Circus Alegria - Consumers Beware

I recently attended the Alegria Circus and was disappointed with my overall experience. Although I appreciate the effort from the performers, I felt that the response and customer service from management were extremely disappointing.

Upon arrival, I was surprised to learn that parking was an additional $10, despite the website not displaying this information. We attempted to call the number listed on the banner several times beforehand and no answer or voicemail box was received. When I expressed my concern to the manager, I was met with a response that I found to be rude and dismissive. Unfortunately, we had already paid for our tickets online, so we were not given the option to leave without incurring a PARTIAL refund.

During the show, I was disappointed to see that the performances were rushed and lacked the magic and wonder that I was expecting from a circus event. I’m not joking when I say that anyone can literally do the performances that I witnessed. Many attendees were unable to participate in simple activities, such as taking photos with performers in costume. To add insult to injury, at the end of the show, we were offered the opportunity to take a photo with King Kong until people got in line for a phto and were told it was an additional fee. But the EmCEE never mentioned that part on the microphone.

While I appreciate that the circus did not use animals in their performances, I did not find the experience to be worth the time and money. In terms of entertainment value, I did not feel that the acts were particularly impressive or memorable. I would caution others to consider the cost and effort involved in attending this event and would not recommend Alegria Circus to others.

Let me tell y’all it’s not big it’s not grandiose but my wife and I felt safe that’s 1, 2 the other thing that makes it great is the people that run especially the grounds keeper Lloyd like I told him my wife and I have bin to some places that will remain nameless because we will never go back to those places again, you couldn’t believe the things We’ve bin through if it wasn’t because of the breed of dogs we have or how many or well I’ll let y’all think on the rest of that , they welcomed us with Open arms Lloyd was so understanding and so nice and accommodating that we where there for just a night and ended up stay through my wife’s hole contract she’s a ICU nurse and at the time she was doing COVID we’ve bin on the road sense it started and very fue places have bin nice to say the least expensive places places that take your money and then o I didn’t know those are the type of dogs or shore we’ll give you chance and the next day everyone is waiting at the door to walk there dogs send there kids to walk little dogs and get close or try to start something to get us of the property you won’t believe me only if you see it for your self had one time have this lady a Karen ok off subject Lloyd was and is a great man and dear I say friend from now on if your there give Lloyd a big thank you from me and my wife we are coming back hopefully we’ll see you soon and thank you for being a great friend and thank you guys in the office as well for being so understanding and kind and accommodating hope we...

It is very easy to locate. Parking is easily accessible and close to the entrances. Attended a concert there and the only drawback was you were not allowed to any food or drinks or bottles of water. I can see the rule of no food or drinks but NO WATER...it happened to be a very hot day and shade was very limited. They were selling bottles of water at $3 each which I and most of the attendees found to be very exspensive. There were numerous people from the very young to the elderly dropping like flies from dehydration and heat stroke from having to be in the direct sun for hours. Most of the spending money I had brought was spent on bottles of water with very little remaining to spend on food which was also very pricey. The musicians were courteous and stopped playing immediately when they seen someone needed medical attention so the EMT's and first aid personnel could get to the person in a timely manner. Authorities knew it was going to be very hot that day by the time the gates opened. So unless you have alot of money to spend on food and water I would not recommend attending a concert or an event that is located out in the direct sun on a hot day. Otherwise great...
