Was this Friday, I was driving back from a job in San Juan Capistrano, and the 5 freeway is not somewhere you want to be at 5pm, inching along....quite ready to commit ......Mayhem....l looked, and I just punch it and took whatever off ramp the cosmos decided, felt better driving at least 30 miles per hour, saw a sign for a park at the same time I saw Micky Ds, banked it In to the drive thru and got....a burger, pulled out and found the Park the sign had mentioned before, this tranquil place of a few dog walkers, surrounded by these pale beech trees and the soothing breeze......don't know how, but I had found my Nirvana for a moment... as I gently fell asleep, napped for about 90 minutes, woke up not quite sure where I was but ate my meal and once again fortified braved the 5 fry to find it wide open, as I climbed on it, I gently blessed the Tustin Heritage Park.......for the Oasis is was... and the Bliss it had...
Read moreI’ve been coming to this park for about 2 years now. And I can tell you that since Maria started cleaning the bathrooms it has made a HUGE difference! Trust me when you work with kids you notice these things. The park itself is great too! Lots of room for everyone to play and enjoy. You can even take a stroll around since there are basketball courts and a hockey rink. There’s a small sand pit, and swings. There is a smaller jungle gym area for younger kids which is where I've taken my son (19 months). Wishunning trail made a complete loop. Very cool to have a concrete hockey rink as you don't always see that. The basketball courts Are in good shape too except exposed to the sun.
Nice swings and I like the floor is wood chips rather than sand. Plenty of benches, and I've seen a couple birthday parties hosted here. There are also bathrooms close to...
