This is one of the few places open early enough for me to be able to grab donuts before work. Everytime I go the lady is so sweet. The jalapeño ham and cheese croissant literally came out while I was there so I had to have one. It was so good and the donuts are delish as well. Will keep coming back as long as she’s open!

Very happy with the service!!! Definitely 5+ stars… they get quite busy but they are very efficient. Few tables inside and one outside too. Definitely recommending this place specially because they do Apple Pay and have plenty of parking space.

We were on vacation in Irvine. I needed some real West Coast donuts from a real, old school West Coast family-owned donut shop. Donut Star took care of my donut cravings. They had maple bars, bear claws, old fashioned with no glaze, cake donuts with chocolate and peanuts.... mmmmmm Oh, don't forget the ham and cheese croissants. My family was fighting over them. Delicious. The staff was all very friendly, the shop was clean, and you know that I'll be back...

This is a nice little donut shop! The prices are lower than what they would be at larger known places such as Dunkin Donuts. As for the donut's taste, they taste pretty good. Definitely not as good as the bigger donut places but still pretty good. Their donuts also fill you up pretty fast so that helps you not spend more money on more donuts.
