Juice It Up! — Restaurant in Tustin

Really horrible experience. Came in and asked for a Blueberry Banana Smoothie. Cashier said they don't make those. I said you certainly do I have ordered it for years and have been a customer of both Jamba and juice it up for literally years. The other employee said that the cashier was new and told him to just build it as a custom smoothie since it is not a menu item (yes that's normally what they do for that smoothie). He asked me what I wanted. I again said a blueberry banana smoothie. He said well what ingredients do you want in it. Besides blueberry and banana...I don't know what makes the smoothies...he said what juice do you want in it. I said I have no idea I have never had to literally piece by piece build my drink. I googled the recipe and showed him, and the other employee said well this is not Jamba juice and you have never ordered that here. Look up the receipt if you want us to make it, we don't know how to make that. Attitude from start to finish. Both looked really...sad? Angry? Disgruntled? I told him I already did look it up and was holding it up for them to see. Both employees looked like they hated their jobs, did not want to be there, did not value any of the customers, preferred that I "go get it from Jamba Juice" instead, and could care less about how the restaurant was viewed and people were treated. As a business owner myself, I hesitate to leave reviews like this, but I honestly feel bad for whoever owns this restaurant, as I do not think they know how their employees are treating people. Have been coming to this specific location for years, but now, as suggested, will likely "go to Jamba Juice" instead. Really horrible and uncomfortable experience. I hope they have...

To the person in charge of this place I would like to let you know certain situations regarding your employees and how they work in your business.

In two occasions my family and I have gone to buy some juices but to my surprise the place was closed. Specially on Sundays, the closing time is at 7pm, I have arrived up to 15 minutes before and the place was already closed.

And another situation that occurred was today Monday August 2, I wanted to buy an Energizer juice and the cashier told me exactly ... "WE ARE NOT MAKING JUICES AT THIS TIME"

The place is called JUICE IT UP for some reason and it is unfortunate that due to certain strange behaviors of the people who work here these types of situations go through.

I spoke to what seemed to be a district manager, who was running the store at the time, and in all my time managing restaurants I don't think I have ever encountered such poor customer service. Her store's phone didn't work, which lead to a plethora of other issues. The craziest part is, this is my first time ever writing a review in general, if these are the type of people we are having head the stores it truly elucidates the situation. I won't ever be returning to her locations again, being Tustin, and Buena Park. Truly horrific...
