Old Schoolhouse Museum — Attraction in Twentynine Palms

We really enjoyed this little museum. We received a personal tour and the volunteers were very knowledgeable. It was interesting to learn the history of Twentynine Palms and why people initially decided to settle here. It was neat to see the actual school house and our 6 year old was fascinated with all of the items from "the olden days." It's definitely worth the visit! Cost if free and donations are appreciated but...

The tour guide ladies at the museum were so sweet and kind, they made the experience so much fun for me and my husband, they were full of knowledge and shared a lot of cool facts.

The staff truly went above and beyond to make the museum a unforgettable experience.

This museum is so very authentic with antiques from olden days. Their Friday night lectures are well done and so informative. The Weed show at the end of summer is fantastic. They carry many books about this area that are hard to find elsewhere. The volunteers are knowedgeable and will answer all...
