Game X Change — Attraction in Tyler

I arrived 11/25/23 for their Black Friday sale looking for new Funko Pops. Of the six I wanted, four of them were a little dingy with dirt or fingerprints or scratches on the outside of the boxes or plastic windows, or the figurines inside of the boxes were out of position and needed to be reset back in their correct position. But otherwise, overall they were all in great condition. The staff there that was working at the time, Devon and Kaylee we're very helpful and friendly towards me. Kaylee in particular really helped me find what I wanted and even helped me to reposition the figurines inside the boxes that were not positioned correctly. She even helped me clean the outside of the boxes and plastic windows to make sure it looked even nicer and even tried to remove whatever scratches she could. That was service above and beyond what they had to do. In addition, since they had to go through all of this trouble and all the items were not 100% in mint condition, they offered me a great bundle deal to make up for this inconvenience and they gave me a certain percentage off each item. This is in addition to the regular sale that was going on of buy two and get one free. So I got even more money off all of these items and I came out looking like a champ and getting everything for a steal. All in all, I had a great experience and I recommend going there especially when these two employees are working. I highly recommend this store because I feel that they care about you and will go above and beyond to help you...

The employees would always be so kind to me and would help me find anything I needed. Although I've noticed when coming into the store lately anytime it's busy there's this girl with pink hair that does anything but help with customers. I feel bad for the other employees. She even gave my friend the wrong game once and so we just went somewhere else instead of going back there. Not sure if I will ever be going back there.

Update: After reviewing this place before, recent events made me want to review this place again in more detail. I feel the only reason I kept returning was due to the knowledgeable staff and the product is pretty decent. But after this weeks events I don’t think I’ll ever come back. It’s seems there’s always something worse going everytime I go to the store. There are dead and alive crickets clearly visible in the lights. There’s a moldy wet looking isle by the DVDs, it looks gross. They never have the games in the drawer but they have it on the shelf. The tiles outside the store are barely hanging on. The sign for a remodel has been out for a while, why has it not happened? Plus to top it off this guy with a Mohawk was yelling at this poor lady in front of customers and then I see him again later in the store wearing a gun to his chest. It’s just ridiculous. Sad to see a decent store...

I won’t be going back after years of service, my husband called up there 3 times not once but 3 to ask about the price, the girl dressed up as Harley Quinn literally said a price on the phone not only were we standing there picking the items we wanted for almost an hour. She even came over there to look at what we had in our binder. We proceeded to check out after we receive what we wanted to get and we were told a total different price from the price of the phone the Harley Quinn looking girl didn’t even try to make sure to tell us. Hey this isn’t what I told you over the phone or let us know that this isn’t what it was she just proceeded to do whatever she was doing in the store The other day when we went and The price we paid was the price we were told today was completely different. She was rude and dismissive about how she told us over the phone and didn’t seem to feel bad at all. Maybe they should keep hiring people who know what they’re talking about over the phone. instead of wanna be cosplayers, you’re at...
