As a picture framer myself for 20 years working for a very large wholesale shop in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, I know all of the ins and outs of quality framing. Are largest client was Merrill Chase Galleries out of Chicago. We framed art for many galleries across the Midwest on a weekly basis and we had exceptionally high standards. Quality picture framing has so many variables. Types of mats, glass, backing, mat reveal, how a piece is hinged or mounted. A piece that is framed correctly will last a very long time. I have come to know the owners at Gold Leaf since I moved to Tyler in 2009 and have used them for some of my own pieces and have seen the same quality I myself am accustomed to. I will accept no less since this is what I myself provided all those years in Milwaukee. Aside from their quality work, it has always been a pleasure working with Traci and her sister Deborah. I’ve even taken a very expensive painting that was damaged to them and within two months, had a gorgeous, personally in my opinion better than before restored and repaired painting.

I had a very particular issue with some portraits that are very important to me and I came into the store for a quote. I told the ladies I would think about it and they understood because of the size of the portraits and the detail that would be involved.
