Chiang Rai Thai Massage — Attraction in Union City

Chiang thai has been my regular place for thai massage. I went here recently at 4 50 and saw many appointments available for 5 pm. Since they charge extra for card, I went to nearby atm and got cash. I came back around 5 05 to 5 10. I went directly since it was available. Lady came back from inside and told me everyone is booked in 10 minutes and only she can do and I should wait for 20 minutes. I informed them that I just saw many open slots how come all of them got busy within 5 minute. Lady who answered to me was very rude n condescending. She mentioned only she can do it - when asked what she is doing now ..rather than chatting with me she can take me then. She mentioned she is in between massage. When I asked why r u leaving customers to talk to me she told me it's her business and I should not say

So basically you are having massage and this lady is taking away your time to argue with others. After this, I do not want her to give massage to me as that defeats the whole purpose.

I am highly disappointed with Chiang Rai's response to my complaint. Its included all the misleading statements about the situation. I am never returning to this place again. There is one thing to make mistake and other thing to blame customers for that.

at 4:55 pm - all the masseuse were available from A to K which is as per their own website. Only thing i did was to go to the ATM - they charge 3% tax on cards. I thought i should include that in the tip rather than giving it as card charge. Since it was 2 mins away i did not book.

They spoke to me for well over 10 minutes and asked to wait for 15 more minutes.

There was literally no one in the lobby, or walking to their massage bed or anything.

No two masseuses had to disrupt massage to attend me. They have 11 masseuses mentioned as A to K on the website and there is always someone at reception - why would they need two masseuses to attend anyone.

The arguing lady/owner followed first lady by herself and started making rude comments directly. I am person of color so no idea it was related to that. When I asked why are you not attending your customers who might be waiting on massage table then she went inside otherwise there was no movement/urgency from her. She wanted to take my appointment but having seen her being so rude and making current customer wait for no reason i told her i dont want massage from her.

"Dont teach us our business" - This comment came from the owner/employee of the place.

Thank you Chiang thai team for posting comments - that truly reflected your attitude and this will happen to other customers as well. So I will definitely select some other venue for massage...

They do massage good but they don’t do full body massage they focus on one area that you say to focus on but that’s just my 1st time experience, and also my massage therapist the lady that sits in the front desk I guess I wasn’t even half way done with my 1hr session and she said “I think 1.5hr better for you because my back is very stressed” trying to get extra money from me and trick my mind professional massage therapist aren’t allowed to ask for more money during a massage and also I came in early to my massage and my therapist was talking to other person and I noticed the person massaging me she went and another women came and massage me a woman that kept coming in and out while the “front desk woman”was massaging me I think that’s why they have curtains instead of doors so the person getting massage won’t know a...

I started coming here about 4 months ago because they offer prenatal massages and I sincerely recommend this place to all expecting mamas.

I also recommend partners to get gift cards for their expecting mamas as a treat!

Prenatal massage is catered specifically to pregnancy related pain, aches and swelling. Jesse, my massage therapist, takes great care of me everytime. Being a mother of three herself, she knows where I am hurting with only a tiny bit of instructions from me. I always leave feeling refreshed, relaxed and happy.

If you are concerned due to covid19, this place is well sanitized, all staff and guests wear masks at all time and their staff have all completed their vaccinations. I have been coming here consistently for 4 months...
