TIK TOK NAILS UC — Attraction in Union City

update Oct 2024. today I saw Jennifer for my nails for a refill. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she was able to do it better! I wish I could post the picture with it but updating review I don't see the option. she did a beautiful orang/yellow hombre with black detailed butterfly wings. she did take a picture, so it should be ready for view on the shop page.

update: still wonderful here! today Susan helped me with my nails whil Jennifer jumped in on the designs(she is super adventurous with designs and worked with me when i wanted to change what we talked about) and kim did my toes. I really love this team so much. I have never had a nail shop provide such steady and good service. the owner is so attentive too always checking in with you If you need a water or want massage chair setting changed for you. pics attached.

this place is great. I've gone a few times now and they are so courteous polite and sweet. I don't have a favorite who does my nails but the whole team works like a well oiled machine, never waiting for anything for long. the place is huge and does not give the "cramped" vibe of other nail salons at all! what's more, they always have a quiet, calm and inviting atmosphere. I’m gonna tell you why I gave three stars. First of all I was a walk in customer. I only had to wait about 5 minutes which was ok. I got the Tik Tok pedicure which is their top tier pedicure that they offer. The pedicure was good, no complaints but I thought for $79 gel polish would be included, not an extra 10 dollars. Secondly I got a new gel x set, mind you this was my first time getting my nails done at this place, the owner assigned me to a less experienced nail technician, first off she shaped one of my nails crooked, she had to remove it and put another one back on, next another nail wasn’t applied correctly and looked like it was going to pop off. They had to remove and reapply another nail. I ended up being at the nail salon for 3.5 hrs. The owner knew I wasn’t pleased and offered me a discount for my inconvenience. Which was thoughtful, however I still ended up paying $174 total for a full gel x set and Tik Tok pedicure. That’s more than I would normally spend at any nail shop with designs included. My first time at TikTok Nails in Union City, Ca by recommendation and I was greeted and treated like a princess. My Nail technician, Teresa was extra knowledgeable and carefully listened to my requests and needs. Teresa is my new go to person and just LOVE her. I felt very pampered during my visit from start to finish. I like my nails very short as you can see in the photo. Great first time salon experience here (everyone is so nice and friendly) and very happy with my Gel overlay nails. The shops website lists all pricing and no hidden costs. This shop is very transparent at the beginning of visit with their pricing which I appreciate greatly! I also appreciated that they have different payment methods other than cash or credit card like, VenMo or Zelle which makes a huge difference for some! TikTok Nails aims to please and also help customers at the same time to make things easier. Did I mention the shop is beautiful?!
