Six Flags Discovery Kingdom Parking — Attraction in Vallejo

This review is for the Discovery Kingdom Parking on 05/11/24 only: I paid $50 for "preferred" parking but it's RIGHT next to the "general" parking area. General parking is $45. I arrived to the parking lot 30 minutes before park opening and I was able to park on Row 1 (closest possible). I assumed the first row of available parking was for people who paid for preferred parking but NOPE. Row 1 is for anyone who arrives on a "first come, first serve" basis. You need to buy pass at least silver pass in order to have access to parking, if you buy day pass and then buy parking it cost more, therefore buying pass is more cost effective. You need to be as early as opening time in order to not be in line. For adults there are not a big variaty. In addition they have operational issues, for on of the attractions I was in line and it broken down 3 times. I would not recommend if you do not have flash pass. The parking is so far away from the actual theme park it's laughable. You have to walk around 10-15 minutes to even get to the park and it's not easy. The parking doesn't take away from the experience of the theme park but just be ready to do a lot of walking. I'd also recommend driving there earlier since parking spots can get super filled up and it's better to park closer to the theme park so you don't have to walk even longer when you're...
