I applied for a position at this location. I spoke to Trisha who has seemingly been dodging me ever since I applied. I have never met or seen this woman. I was selected for an interview and denied which is fine, I just wanted to know why since I have worked with this company for several years.
Since, Trisha is never available and does not answer the phone, or really any department…I never got the answer as to what happened. Another employee told me she talked to her and referred me back to my email and told me the reason would be explained. I never received an email explaining anything. I also don’t want to come off as someone who can’t accept rejection as that would not be true. With experience with applying for this company in the past and in different states this was by far the worst experience.
Trisha needs to do better when it comes to answering calls and actually communicating with applicants. This whole process was handle terribly and has turned me off to applying for another Target location again in the future. No one has time to be calling and calling only for you to never be available or too busy. Treating applicants like you have better things to do is unprofessional, narcissistic, and belligerent.
Also, as someone who works in HR, you shouldn’t be talking to anyone about applicants unless they play a role in the hiring process. So, when I went up there personally to talk to Trisha, I was a bit confused and taken back as to why this person knew about my application and why there was a conversation between her and the HR. Yet, the employee couldn’t tell me anything other than look at my email for the answers.
Lastly, communication shouldn’t be treated like a problem. I felt like anytime I called they knew who I was and treated me like I was annoying. However, if I didn’t have to call 4-5 times every other day during non peak hours trying to get answers and someone could pick up the phone or give me a time that works best to call, I obviously would not be calling as much....
Read moreI wanted to highlight an employee at this Target that seriously saved my day on Sunday!
My stroller had broken and I was headed to Six Flags with my 1 1/2 year old son to meet up with some of my friends.
I stopped into target to pick up a new stroller. I found it right away and asked if they had someone who could help assemble it. I was told they didn’t so I asked for sisters and if I was able to assemble it myself in the customer service area. They let me go ahead and do that.
Within minutes I realized how in over my head I was. I had parts all over the floor and customers commending me for my bravery of taking on this puzzle of a stroller. (I didn’t see another option as we were already an hour away from home.)
One of the clerks called over Aaron to help. Aaron looked like he had been in the middle of something but when he saw me struggling he immediately stepped in to help.
I honestly don’t think Aaron had ever put together a stroller before but he was reading the manual and had the stroller up and running soon enough for me to make it on time to meet my friends at the park.
I cannot tell you how appreciative I am to have come access an employee who was willing to go so far above his job to help a customer.
You are lucky to have him on your...
Read moreRude and unprofessional management! Very degrading towards a long time customer and former employee. Customer service has been on the decline, one would think we were in Walmart. Complaining about having to be there till a specific time to customers is very unprofessional. Accusing us of Re tagging clearance stickers, there have been numerous occasions where the clearance tags weren’t reflected in the system. Those are one time use stickers so you can tell if they have been peeled off. When we called to speak with the MOD, they promptly said we need to go back in and talk to her, then hung up on us. Very professional conduct there. /sarcasm. Unimpressed. We shop Target because we like the bargains you can find in the clearance but no amount of savings can make us think we’re going to put up with that nonsense. There are plenty of shops that provide what Target does without that kind of attitude towards their consumer base. Might need to change some personnel to keep up with good service, otherwise Target is just going to become another Walmart. And FYI we don’t shop...
