With a fantastic selection of lexan RC body paints and a great selection of replacement and hop-up parts for your favorite RC car. HobbyTown offers small town feel with a big city selection of goods. This HobbyTown keeps a nice selection of 10th scale crawlers, bashers, drift cars as well as touring cars. The larger scales and of course the 1/24 scale crawlers aren't forgotten. HobbyTown has many replacement and upgrade parts for about anything you need. They have the regular brands that we all know and love, such as Traxxas, Arrma and Losi. So if you're in the area, it's definitely worth a stop to check out and see if you can find your next hobby at HobbyTown.

Great experience. Nice people. They have great prices on there gundam model kits. Some better then Amazon and definitely better prices compared to the Anime shop ( I will not name the shop)at the mall across the street. I will most definitely be back for more.

Over the last few years, they've really grown their on-hand stock for model kits, which has been exciting. I tried pre-ordering items with them a few years ago, and they got the model number down and ordered it. A few months later, I came in to check on the status of the pre-order because many other retailers had gotten the item in. They told me that the item was not something they could order and that I had never come into pre-order with them.

I took it as a wash. I later came in and they had the exact model kit I was looking for and when I went to purchase one of them they pulled up my account and then saw that I had indeed had the pre-orders down for these items. They pulled some stock they had set aside for my order, and the guy told me they must have forgotten to call me. From that point forward, I decided not to pre-order or even attempt to pre-order from here

One of the things that honestly would earn this place a five-star review is the fact that they are very community driven. They have their people that will come in they will talk about the different items they sell and different Services they offer, and all around have been super friendly to their community. But what I've noticed is their community here is extremely exclusive. I sat in line today for 10 minutes( mostly because the person I believed to be either the owner or the owner's spouse was on the phone the entire time while running the till) getting cut by two different people. Each time I was cut, I walked away from the register and walked back when it was empty just to be cut off again. Then, when it was my chance for checkout, the individual doing the checkouts was pulled away to discuss stuff with RC cars. I left, not purchasing anything, leaving with a pretty noticeable level of frustration. For that, I am sorry

I do intend on coming back, but I've learned that unless you're going to be their best friends you're not going to get the kind of service you get at the HobbyTown locations both in Happy Valley and...

Very disappointing lack of service!!!! We special ordered some parts for an RC car. Paid cash up front and was told the parts would hopefully be there by the end of the week. After 2 weeks I called and was told that they didn't have time to check but they would call me when the parts were in. I called again a week later and was told that only one of the parts had arrived and the others were backordered. Asked when they would arrive and was informed that their sales rep was on vacation so they would have to call his backup person to find out. I held for some time while they did that and was told to call back the next day to see what the rep could find out. Called back and was told that the part was shipping that day but it was too soon to get a tracking number. Called back 3 days later to find out that the parts should be delivered the next week. Bridget left me a message the day the parts arrived. The next day I went to pick them up....only to find that they had closed early due to a "change in hours". But just then 2 employees came out the door so I approached with receipt in hand and asked if they could please give me the parts that were already paid for....and they wouldn't do it. They said their computer system was in the middle of a backup so they couldn't release the parts. I explained how inconvenient it would be to make a special trip back, mentioned that Google was still showing that they were open, and they could not have cared less. They said that the vendor was "to blame" for the inconvenience because they had backordered the parts. They also said that they will soon be going back to normal hours....as if I would ever consider buying something...

I ordered some parts for my son’s Traxxas car. He is 8, so the repairs are my job for now . Anyways, ordered the parts for order pick up. And I don’t hear anything back for days, not even a confirmation email, so I figure I will have my husband check if they have the parts when he went in today to get rocket engines. He asked and said the employee shuffled a couple papers and said they didn’t have it. 2 hours later I get a rude voicemail asking when I am going to pick up the parts. I call back to make sure they still have them and said I would be there in a couple minutes. It took me 10 minutes to drive to the shop. I get there, and the order can’t be found. I am asked repeatedly if I called to make sure the pets were in or if I got a phone call from an employee saying to come in. I am being asked all this by the guy I talked to. Finally they ask for my name and put it into the computer. That didn’t work so they asked for “his name.” Even though insisted it was only my name and number on the order because I am the one who placed the order and I was the one they had called about the order, I was repeatedly asked for “his name.” Finally I recited the part number and it was hanging on the wall. It was a...
