Kathleen's Hallmark Shop — Attraction in Vancouver

I miss coming to this store because I love the selection of cards and unique gifts. I had a horrible experience several months ago and just can't bring myself to go back. Before this experience I would have given them a five-star review. I ordered a card for my dad's 90th birthday online. The card hadn't arrived two weeks later so I drove to the store and purchased the same card. When the online card finally arrived I took it to the store to return it. My mistake was not keeping my store receipt and instead bringing in the online receipt. The salesperson acted very strangely and went to the back room to consult with someone else. Another person came out and told me only the manager could approve an online return and I would need to come back the next day since it was her day off. When I returned the next day the manager was out of the store and I was asked to come back later. I called the store the following day and the manager stated they don't take online returns even if they sell the exact same merchandise in store. If someone had told me that from the beginning it would have saved several trips, a phone call, and major frustration. So they lost my business over one birthday card. I always go during the holidays and pick up my Hallmark ornaments and they always have such fun things , gifts that I have purchased many gifts for Christmas and for Baby gifts.. the help is amazing and they have chocolates to purchase. I have found cute bracelets for grand daughters and books and stuffed animals for baby gifts. I love going there for unique ideas . They have some very soft, sweaters and tshirts. . Plus the soft socks.....

Just went into this store to leave information for a non-profit fundraiser I am producing, and to shops for potential purses/bags for an upcoming trip. After I got in my car, I saw that one of the women from the store had followed me and was taking down my license number, because clearly what my nefarious plans were are to drop off a flyer with my contact information and then steal from your store.
