Mindtaker is the store front to an always changing on-line gaming store. Yes, they are a FLGS. Yes, they sell new products, but more importantly, they sell used board games, RPGs, and miniatures. Mindtaker buys and sells used games directly and on consignment, so you never know what they may be carrying. They have solid selection of everything from Battletech to Games Workshop to Corvus Belli. Robin and Evan have run to business since it was a side hustle. They have a well trained staff who are kind and capable. My favorite parts are the bits by the ounce table and the random sprue bins.

Final Edit (Hopefully) 3/18/2025 I was contacted by Mindtaker today regarding my most recent edit to my review.

I spoke with Eben Lowy at some length trying to figure out just what happened, and we were able to reach an understanding of the issues and what caused them. I have altered my rating once again in response to this.

Mindtaker displayed great care and concern with my experience and have taken steps to correct the problems caused by their error.

I would rate them 4.5 but am not able to.

Edited - 3-14-25 Mindtaker bought my items but made the mistake of misidentifying a rather large and named set of Kill Team terrain which I had declined selling to them.

This caused the major component of the set to be labeled/defined wrongly as being part of a set of terrain that I did not and do not have. As a result, I did not receive those items back, but I was paid for them. Before this oversight could be corrected, the items were sold to another customer.

Even though I packed all of my items in their original packaging with the included packing slips from the boxes prior to bringing them to be appraised, humans are humans and mistakes were made. It's not the end of the world or anything, but it has definitely caused some drama in my life.

This is certainly not the norm I can only assume, but it is something that happened with me, and I take it as my responsibility to help educate future customers.

Be sure to be diligent with your knowledge of your items, and do not be afraid to say something if it is incorrect (if you catch it, which was not the case for me.)

My original review ----- The staff was welcoming, and beyond helpful with the mountain of things I brought in for appraisal. I just wish they weren't so far from...

I can't even begin to tell you how amazing their staff is! I showed up in tears and they instantly comforted me and made me feel at home. I lost my husband and every time I went into the garage and saw his boxes of Warhammer armies, it brought me to my knees. I needed to let them go but every time I posted them for sale I'd get rude super low offers and people telling me they weren't worth anything but they would be glad to take them off my hands for free. Even had one person offer to take them as long as I paid for shipping them to him.

I'm brand new to the area and I can easily tell you that this establishment has secured a consumer and supporter for life. Thank you to Mindtaker Miniatures and your staff, for making this so much easier for me, and for giving me a fair and reasonable price for my husbands collection.

It does my heart good knowing my husbands collection will go on to people who will love and appreciate it as much as he did. I'll be leaving this same review on Google, Yelp, Facebook and anywhere else I can to promote what an amazing store and group of employees you have. Thank you again, from the bottom of my heart and the depth of my soul, Thank You!

Please go to this store and you will see for yourself that not only do they have everything you could ever want or need for gaming but they also have the most amazing staff you will ever meet! Just don't offer to do hair! Their local stylist will hunt you down! (JK an inside joke between one of the employees and myself, just to show them I remember them and appreciate their support and kindness while...

Staff were friendly, and their inventory was big. I was a little disappointed because I picked an item off the shelf to buy, and they said it had already been sold. It made me up set because I had to dig through all of their shelf inventory to find it, and when I got up to the cash register, they said it was sold. I will not be going back. To drive up from Hillsboro to check them out. Find something I was excited about and have them tell me I could not buy it because they did not do their job and pull it off the shelf. In person, customers should take priority over online sales. After all, when did the item sell after I picked it up and was walking up to the cashier to pay for it. Or did it sell 48 hours before I got there, and they did not make an effort to pull the item off the shelf. Overall, it is very clean and friendly for games. I have just never been somewhere that does not sell items to the customer when they have the money in had to buy it. I will not be going back, nor will I buy things from them offline now that I have had this in-person experience. It makes me wonder about the online order I placed with them in the past. Did this se thing happen to someone else when I made my online order. This experience made me feel like a bad person. Even written this report up makes me feel bad to my stomach. Like I said, staff were very nice and took the time to explain everything to me. But I still feel like something was taken from me, and because of that, I will...
