About two weeks ago I had came in and ordered the Loco Moco. This was my first time eating here and in all honesty, I wasn't pleased with my dish too much at all. Couldn't really do much about it as I got it To go and was at work that day. My co worker had ordered another dish from there and neither of our entrees seemed like they were up to par. The beef had no flavor to it at all and the gravy was super salty. I added pepper and that helped a little bit. Ultimately I had three bites, an empty stomach and had wasted about $13. Little disappointed but I'm glad other people are having a good experience. Maybe there just needs to be more attention on the Togo orders? I don't know but I was not pleased. If I do come back, it would be a bit in the future but I'm not too sure. I was really excited to try it too so it's really too bad. The service was not bad at all though! May have just been a bad day....

Oh, boy. I've been on the search for a really good Hawaiian barbecue spot in Vancouver because I always end up going to Portland for what I already know and like. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement and I wanted to like it because the photos looked really good, it had good reviews and the cashier was very nice. However, my shoyu chicken is incredibly dry, like barely edible. Mac salad is one of my favorite things about getting Hawaiian barbecue and I don't think I've ever tasted something so bland in my life. It literally tastes like air. I'm not sure how something with onions, carrots, green onions and mayonnaise can taste like nothing, but they have somehow accomplished this. This is the first time I've taken myself out to eat in a while because I've been on a budget and I'm so sad that this is is what I ended up with. I will be driving to Portland again for my Hawaiian BBQ...

Where do I start?! Saw this little spot while out running errands so we decided to give it a try. Went in and it wasn't too busy, placed our order to go and we literally sat there for almost 30 minutes waiting for our order. A little annoyed that we had to wait that long but excited to hurry and get home so we can eat. Epic fail! The food was terrible! 1st thing that I always go for and is a staple with Hawaiian style plates is the Mac salad, this mac salad was runny and disgusting! Had absolutely no flavor, noodles were way over cooked and it was soggy/runny! Teriyaki chicken had no flavor and the kalbi ribs had an awful taste to it. But what really disappointed the most was the loco moco. The burger patti was still a little raw and lacked any kind of flavor. Serving size was so small but our bill for 3 plates was over $50! Never going back...

Edit+ Came back and tried the Krispy japolo(last picture). Actually really good, tasted like a type of spicy orange chicken, with again a teriyaki flavor. Bumped up to 5 star + First off, 4 stars is being generous. The problem wasn't the food didn't taste good, nor was it really the portion size. The problem was japolo sauce is just teriyaki sauce. It sounded like some type of authentic Hawaiian sauce. Instead I paid 13$ for a teriyaki chicken bowl. I tried to google japolo chicken and the only thing that came up was their restaurant name. Again 4 stars because I guess I could have asked what japolo sauce is. Place was super busy, took 25-30 minutes to get the bowl out. Probably won't come back, just because I was expecting something else.

This place is very good. First of all, the portion sizes are gigantic which is what I am always looking for because I am a big guy and hate getting skimped. I ordered "Da Mix" plate which is two entrees, side of rice and Mac salad. I got half Loco Moco and Half Japalo Chicken. The loco Moco was a full size damn near 1/3lb patty with an over easy eggs on top. I thought it would be smaller since I did the half order but it felt like a full order. The japalo chicken was nice and crispy and comes with that Sriracha mayo glaze on top of the japalo chicken sauce. The chicken is not to spicy but very tasty. I recommend it. It's not crispy like katsu but is more of crispy increased pieces. The Mac salad is nice and creamy.

First of all the people here are rude, cannot even provide a high chair for a kid. When i ordered a dinuguan and pork belly, the cashier said they dont have any lechon kawali. The order came and theres no pork belly only dinuguan. So I told the server I ordered pork belly too. Then he insisted they dont have lechon kawali. I said, those are two different things. Another guy came up probably the servers dad, ask me the difference between the two. Then he told me im being rude and start cursing, pointing fingers and went inside the kitchen. This isnt how you operate a business at all! He even told me dont eat it! In front of everyone in the restaurant.
