Shark Frenzy, Inc — Attraction in Venice

I cannot say enough good things about this place and the wonderful people there! My children and I had come to visit Caspersen Beach when we learned that Venice was the “shark tooth capital of the world”! More than anything, my kids love sharks and are fascinated with anything to do with them. We were only in town for three days and wanted to spend all of our time at the beach hunting for shark teeth. We immediately went to Shark Frenzy and purchased the shark tooth sifter and an ocean sifter. Our first day we found several fossilized shark teeth, most of them pretty small. My kids were happy, but I know they were desperately wanting to find something slightly bigger. We tried our luck again the next day, and found more teeth, some a little bigger, but most were on the smaller side. Since my children are very young and the riptides were strong during our visit, I didn’t allow them to go far to look for the teeth. Feeling like I was holding them back from finding all that they could, I visited Shark Frenzy by myself the next day, hoping to purchase a couple slightly larger teeth and letting my kids “find” them while sifting. Linda and Britney were so amazing and helped me find several teeth! Everything in the store was amazing and now that I’m back home, I’m kicking myself that I didn’t buy more souvenirs from such a cool store when I was there! Definitely planning another trip to Florida and when I do, this store is on my must-go-to list! Anyway coming back to the wonderful ladies in the store, Linda and Britney really saved me, and when I snuck one tooth each into my children’s sifters and they “found” them, they were so over the moon happy! Thank you so much Linda and Britney, you don’t know how happy you made my children!

As there is a review a year ago complaining about the extreme scent in the store- and seeing how that is still going on as I too choked on it, everything we went through makes sense... I love small businesses and supporting women entrepreneurs, as I am an owner myself - but when I say these people cannot take feedback, I mean it. They seem nice enough till you get into a real conversation with them- they pretend to listen to their customers - smile but then say things that belittle you and show they really don't care because they are doing it how they are doing it and they are making some money so they could care less. This business could be great- it's sad when owners get big heads to the point where they miss the big picture. The products are pretty good- they could use some improvement but honestly after the whole thing they don't deserve ideas that might help improve customer experience- since they've already disregarded reviews that could help. I'm not putting all the details here. Don't expect them to honor their word on an agreement- get a signed piece of paper - because next thing you know you're getting charged much more than you agreed upon.
