I always love walking downtown Venice. Although, I wish the shops were open till 7pm, because generally I strut down the boardwalk after a long day at the beach.
Downtown Venice itself is home to some of my favorite restaurants. Made in Italy, Cia Gelato, and T.J. Carneys, to name a few. Cia Gelato is a wonderful after dinner desert spot, that is if you don't indulge in some of Made in Italy's Desert Menu. Cia offers homemade Gelato of all flavors. It offers plain, sugar, and waffle cones just like a traditional ice cream shop, while also offering its go to cup sizes. Then there's T.J.'s...an Irish style bar with wonderful food. Read moreLove living in the beautifully historic Venice Island. The people who live on Venice Island are just amazing! I have not met anyone who is not happy in this community. The beach is so close and Publix is less than a mile away. The Farmers Market is just wonderful. There are so many little shops and a whole lot of delicious food practically everywhere and if you drink alcohol then you would love the Island!. Fishing is pretty good too. I have never seen any kind of criminals on the Island. I believe that Venice Island should be rated in the Top 3 places to live in America. If you don't live here then I highly recommend visiting and then you will understand why Venice, Island is always...

We spent a week here for our anniversary, and every night felt like a dream. Romantic dinners, moonlit walks, and my husband absolutely spoiling me. Venice made it easy to fall in love all over again, both with the town and...
