Bushido is truly a gem in the world of sushi. From the moment you step into the restaurant, you can feel the attention to detail and commitment to quality that sets this establishment apart from the rest. The atmosphere is elegant and refined, with sleek, minimalist decor and a calming ambiance that allows you to fully focus on the culinary experience. The service is impeccable, with attentive and knowledgeable staff who are always ready to make recommendations and ensure that you have the best possible dining experience. But the real star of the show is the sushi itself. The chefs at Bushido are masters of their craft, and it shows in every bite. The quality of the fish is top-notch, with an emphasis on freshness and flavor. Each piece of sushi is perfectly crafted, with just the right amount of rice and seasoning to complement the fish. Whether you're a sushi connoisseur or a newcomer to the world of Japanese cuisine, Bushido is sure to impress. With its commitment to quality, attention to detail, and outstanding sushi, it's no wonder that this restaurant has become a favorite among discerning diners. If you're looking for an unforgettable sushi experience, look no further than Bushido.

Googled several places for sushi while we were on vacation in Southern Florida. Bushido came up and I read through the reviews. I was very surprised that while Bushido had several hundred very positive reviews, my experience was anything but positive. I went with my wife and four other people, and we were very displeased with the food quality. Ordered chicken brown rice and two rolls between my wife and I. The “brown rice” was literally sushi rice with added soy sauce and some pieces of dry chicken added to the mix. The chicken fried rice was all clumped together. That kind of rice is what sushi rice is made of. Not chicken fried rice. As you can see from photos the it was all clumped and dry. Even sticking to one chop stick and not even falling off. That’s not fried rice. They were too cheap to make normal fried rice and just reused old sushi rice. Plus, one of us found hair in our food. We are all fair headed and server had darker hair. Hair was long and dark. Not a pleasant experience.

I recently had the misfortune of dining at Buishudo, and let me tell you, it was a culinary catastrophe of epic proportions. First off, the soup looked like something straight out of a horror film—seriously, it resembled sewer water with some random greens floating around like they were trying to escape their fate. I half expected a rat to paddle by and ask for a lifeguard! Then came the steak hibachi, which was a masterpiece of disappointment. The watery onions were practically swimming, and the rice? Oh boy, it was just plain white rice that had been introduced to soy sauce but never really hit it off. It stuck to my chopsticks like it was auditioning for a role in a bad rom-com. And the steak? Cold and chewy, like it had been cooked yesterday and just decided to crash the party. Honestly, if you want to ruin your appetite, Buishudo is the place to go!

Fantastic place! Seems like a nice little family joint, everyone was very friendly and it had a nice casual but refined atmosphere. Server was so so polite and patient when we took our time deciding, and the food was delicious! One of the best bowls of Miso Soup I've ever had. The Teriyaki Salmon was to die for, the sushi was a little lacking in flavor but not bad by any means - and the fried rice was good too. It might seem a little pricey, but for the quality & decent size portions (it's not a take out joint so they're not massive, but still very respectable) it's a good deal!

We were celebrating a big milestone and I think the server overheard us talking about it, because she gave us complimentary banana wontons which were seriously good. I wish I'd caught her name because that was so sweet of her. I'd absolutely come back here again, it was wonderful :)

Though word to the wise, Google maps may direct you to in the back way off Miami Ave - but that's the wrong way if you need to park! If you come in from Venice Ave you can pull through to the lot and park in the slanted slots beside the building much easier - there seemed to be enough spots, but if you have trouble finding one there's street parking and a parking lot for other businesses around the corner you could...

This was my first visit to Venice, and after reading reviews I was excited to try this place (even dragged my reluctant father-in-law who isn't into sushi along). First I want to say that the service was great- our waitress was fast, and friendly especially considering how many tables she had to juggle. I would have given a half star for service alone. What drags the score to a 3 is the price point, the quality of the sushi, and the state of their gyoza. (My 5 star comparison is Aka Sushi in Jackson, MI) The sushi was good, but very basic. While the flavor profiles were there, at the price point I would expect a little more flair. What really let this place down was the gyoza appetizer- soggy, falling apart, the seasoning was off, and the meat was dry. I do not hesitate to say that this was some of the worst gyoza I have ever eaten. There were 5, and we abandoned the last one to where it belongs, the garbage.

For reference, we had miso soup, the gyoza, the dyamite roll, the tempura roll with white tuna, and my FIL had the shrimp tempura entree. Totaling to $53 before tip. (At the end of it all, my FIL said he'd rather have straight Chinese sigh You win some,...
