In the heart of Venice, Florida, where the sun casts its golden net over the tranquil canals and whispers of adventure linger in the salty breeze, there exists a place where time slows and flavors weave tales that linger in memory like old friends.
Upon entering Parlor Donuts, I felt a sense of anticipation akin to embarking on a grand voyage. The aroma of freshly baked delights beckoned, promising a journey into realms of sweetness yet unexplored. The decor, a harmonious blend of modern elegance and rustic charm, enveloped me like a comforting embrace, setting the stage for what was to come.
Each donut, a masterpiece in its own right, awaited its moment to enchant. Choosing my first companion on this epic odyssey was no easy task, for each beckoned with a promise of discovery. With trembling anticipation, I made my selection—a creation that seemed to shimmer with the allure of distant lands and untold stories.
As I took that first bite, flavors erupted like fireworks on my palate, sending ripples of pleasure through my senses. The texture, at once delicate and resilient, cradled the essence of each ingredient with the tenderness of a cherished memory. Each subsequent bite revealed new depths of flavor, each morsel a revelation that left me yearning for more.
But it was not just the taste that captivated me; it was the experience—the journey into a world where every bite told a story, where each donut was a portal to moments of pure delight. With each flavor, I felt myself drawn deeper into a narrative woven from the threads of nostalgia and innovation, a narrative that transcended mere culinary pleasure to become an unforgettable chapter in the story of my life.
As I reluctantly savored the final crumbs of my adventure, I knew that Parlor Donuts had forever altered my perception of indulgence. It was more than a bakery; it was a sanctuary where dreams took shape in flavors and where every visit promised a new tale to cherish.
So, to all who seek not just a treat, but an experience—a journey into the realms of deliciousness that leaves an indelible mark on the soul—I urge you to venture into Parlor Donuts. Let its creations transport you, let its flavors captivate you, and let its magic weave a tale that changes you forever. For in each bite lies not just a donut, but a moment—a moment of pure, unadulterated bliss that lingers long after the last crumb...
Read moreYesterday my partner and I came in to grab a late lunch at 4:20 (40 min before close). When we walked in there was a line so we assumed they were still serving customers as usual even though it was almost an hour before close. Once we got to the counter I started to order a breakfast taco and out of nowhere a middle aged women came from the back and rudely explained that they don’t serve breakfast food past a certain point of the day. This made no sense to us since we’ve gone in 20 min before close and had two wonderful young ladies make us food before without and issue. I took it with a grain of salt and decided to just order a donut instead. I explained to the girl at the register I have a SEVERE allergy to pistachios and was wondering if they could prepare me one from the back (since they have done this for me before after explaining to them how allergic I am to these kinds of nuts). And again here comes the middle aged lady out of the back and AGAIN rudely explains they can’t do that for me and proceeded to tell me to pick a prepared one out of the case which was LITTERED with pistachio nuts. They are on donuts that didn’t even come with them on it which is a serious danger to people with allergies. If this place takes anything away from what happened to my partner and I today it’s that they need to separate the donuts with allergens on them from ones that don’t and place them with the proper label so even people who have food allergies can enjoy they’re food too. Also to teach they’re older staff to respect customers and be polite. This experience was very disappointing considering I’ve been here many times and had a wonderful and accommodating experience with the...
Read moreI was tempted to leave 4 stars because of the ordering process but because they JUST opened, and are outrageously popular, I really don’t think it’s a bad thing they have an actual mob of people at all hours of the day. The line is long, the ordering/pick up/paying lines are confusing, but my god is it worth it!!! The staff are very welcoming and did help me sort out where to order/pick up/and pay. The confusing part is where multiple people are walking around the cases looking at doughnuts and you aren’t sure who is in line vs who is just looking. But the staff helped me get sorted very quickly and professionally. Now to the best part, the doughnuts! They are like light flakey fried croissants, crispy on the outside and light and airy on the inside. Absolutely delicious! We tried the “chocolate chocolate” and the “turtle cheesecake”; both were to die for! I would absolutely recommend this place and their doughnuts to anyone and everyone! I tried their “vegan” doughnut a few years ago at another location and I loved it then but I never got the chance to try their “regular” doughnuts and boy was I missing out! I will be returning to try their breakfast. This place has had a line out the door every day since they opened and it is the dead of summer…I can only imagine the business they will get in season!...
