I went with my husband to purchase a car we don’t live local so we did everything over the phone they told us my husband qualifies and guaranteed us 100% he qualified we drove 2 hours and half to this dealer. 15 days later after the purchase they called my husband and told him the bank did not approved due to the financial bank confirm the work status of my husband. My husband lost his job the same day he bought the car and we had no idea this would happen we knew we had this responsibility so the dealer call us to return the car so we took it back the next day and they told us we lied about the information and they needed to explain the DMV why we needed to cancel the contract. Unfortunately we didn’t not know my husband was not gonna have a job but still we’re gonna continue with the payments which we’re approaching I have a job and my husband found a job 3 days after getting laid off so we told them he had a job but they decided to cancel either way and they still charged us 700 dollars for the cancellation according to them for fraud because we lied but we can prove my husband was employed the day we bought the car but unfortunately they wanted to make us responsible for this Also they told my husband to do a video and do a recommendation for auto max witch my husband did because he was happy of the purchase we had just made but if we would of know this was gonna happen he would of not have done it.I told cesar Montoya we had no idea my husband was gonna get laid off the same day so it was not our fault and he told me he was not gonna go into details with me because he knew I was right. Never purchase from here. I think it’s insane I understand the situation but it’s not fair they made us responsible when we’re we’re unaware of what...
Read moreI bought my first car here, My caps from the car were broken and i asked for new ones they said they had no problem changing them ,I had problems with my car literally 2 days after I bought it with my breaks they had this really bad noise and it said something about my tpms they said I would be able to take it in to get it fixed so I did, nothing was changed no new caps, the breaks made the same loud annoying noise, they restarted my car so the tpms signal could go away(witch they didn’t fix) I was very upset, I’ve taken my car to get fix about 3 times and I still haven’t got to caps and nothing fixed, I went to the store one day and my car literally died on me it didn’t want to turn on ! I had to pay for a towel truck and for mechanical expenses, which the mechanic told me I needed new breaks and that was the reason for the noise I went back to talk to someone and they had that I would have to pay for someone to look at my car and my dad mention to them about my breaks and how they weren’t working in a few words one of they’re workers said that they were cheap and now my car it a total mess. I didn’t expect my first car to be like this is sad to see them take over people’s money . They are so unprofessional. Think twice before buying a car from here . I’m going to make sure to post about my experience all over...
Read moreBUYER BEWARE! I'm only saying this because I don't want the next person to get screwed over by these people. Do not buy a vehicle from Auto Max of Ventura! We went there one night to look at a couple vehicles we sparked an interest in this truck and wanted to test drive it. We asked if anything had been wrong with it and the only thing they said was on of the interior seats had been ripped and they fixed it other than that they did a Maitnence look over to make sure everything was good engine/transmission/ tires etc. We ended up buying it, WORST MISTAKE EVER! We took it off the Lot the next day. We drove it 20 mins back home and looked at it noticing coolant leaking and then a rattling sound. We called to get it back in because there was a 7 day warranty. The mechanic TOLD my husband he wasn't sure why the owner sold us the vehicle because they ordered tierods for the truck before we even bought it. Please please research your dealer and do your homework. There are wrong unethical people out there trying...
