My fiancé and I walked into Jewelry Couture on a whim and ran into Joseph and Arnold(?). We were looking for an engagement ring. I already had a ring in mind from the Brilliant Earth website. I wanted a single white diamond with blue sapphire accent stones. Joseph and Arnold showed us several rings that did not quite have the look I was looking for. I showed Joseph a photo of the ring I liked and he offered to make it for us. Before he showed us any stones, he talked to us about what we were looking for. My fiancé wanted a diamond that shined brightly, but I didn’t want us to spend a huge amount. I tend to be more frugal. He asked me about the significance of the blue sapphires and I explained that I loved water and the blue was a peaceful color for me. I expressed that I actually preferred more of a teal color. I also explained that I wanted something that looked organic. He had showed me a ring that had white gold leaves in the band and I loved it. I also saw another ring with a tulip setting that made the diamond look like a flower. I loved that as well. After this in depth conversation where Joseph tried to understand what we were looking for, he came back with several diamonds. My fiancé selected a stunning diamond that had perfect cut and color and less clarity creating the brilliance he was looking for and the value I was looking for. Although I was expecting blue sapphires, Joseph presented blue diamonds that were the teal color I described to him. They were phenomenal and exactly the color I was looking for with all the brilliance of a diamond. They were perfect. Then, we designed the ring on paper. I wanted the diamond in the tulip setting surrounded by the blue diamonds with the tiny leaves on the back of the matching wedding ring. Joseph suggested that the leaves on the wedding band could match up with notches created in the engagement ring to keep the set together when worn. We agreed to the sketch. Approximately one week later, Joseph sent us a CAD 3D model of the ring. It beautifully matched the sketch. Then, they presented us with an actual wax model of the ring for our review and approval before they made the ring. I want to say that it took them about a month to create the ring. They sent us a photo to let us know that the ring was ready. I can only say that the photo did not do it justice. The rings, in person, were absolutely stunning and far surpassed my expectations. The diamond looked like a lotus flower sitting on top of a peaceful blue pond. My fiancé presented me with the ring and Joseph and Arnold provided the champagne and pastries to celebrate. The experience was absolutely perfect and Joseph and Arnold were such a pleasure to work with. The energy was not high pressure. We felt like they were genuinely interested in pleasing us. It was a partnership. As for value, I priced up a similar ring on Brilliant Earth, and the price was comparable except that we got exactly what were were looking for in terms of customization. Our wedding set is truly one of a kind. It also appraised for far greater than what we paid for it. I truly recommend this jewelry shop and especially Joseph and Arnold. Don’t settle for the rings in the displays if you can’t find exactly what you’re looking for. Talk to Joseph and allow him to make you the ring of your dreams. Thank you so much, Jewelry Couture. Read moreFirst time visiting/shopping at your store. I was born and raised here in Ventucky. Started our family in 1990, married my Sweetie, raised two boys, started and operated a successful service business in Ventura County for 35 years, Stringer Appliance Repair, Inc. I understand and know a lot about running a successful customer service based retail business. If I had an employee like Bri, I would be blessed.
Brianna made eye contact from across your beautiful display space when I entered your store. Bri is a very knowledgeable young lady, and it is very apparent that she loves what she is doing.
I was shopping for a quality gold chain to wear and accompany the Sacred Heart Medallion my Mother left me when she passed in 2021. Three weeks prior my wife, Michelle, passed on February 10th, 2021, due to a rare and aggressive AML. Michelle was diagnosed and gone in a 26 hour window, she was/is my world. Mom always wore the Medallion that my Father got for her on their 23rd Anniversary while celebrating in Mazatlan, Mexico in 1983. They are now residing peacefully at Conejo Memorial Park. Bri was patient with an old man sharing his story of picking up the shattered pieces and learning to adjust to living without the two most important women in his life.
We found the perfect subtle rope chain to fill the order. I returned the following day to have Bri clean and check the diamonds in my wedding band. When I asked what I owed her, she told me there was no charge for the maintenance check and cleaning. Now I can feel a little safer and protected in my travels, as my Mom did until her last breath.
In closing; the principals of this fine establishment should feel blessed and fortunate to have Brianna as an employee. She is professional, knowledgeable, compassionate, patient, and understands that excellent customer service is the foundation for any successful business.
Thank...
Read moreI lost the diamond in my wedding ring and my insurance company sent me to Jewelry Couture all the way from Santa Barbara as State Farm felt they were of the highest quality jewelers. Since it was the insurance company sending me, I had my doubts, but from the moment I walked in the door and met with Joseph, the owner, he was nothing, but kind, informative and patient with us. He spent about 2 hours with us picking out the perfect stone to fit my antique, one of a kind ring and educating us about diamonds and what to look for. We found a beautiful diamond that would fit in the marquis hole and he offered to repair all the prongs and mount to make the diamond more secure for free and to re-appraise the ring for free. That afternoon he called the insurance company and they needed the diamond to be certified and the diamond we selected was not. He had previously that day showed us a diamond that was of much higher quality than the diamond I had and a greater carat size than I previously selected and he offered to give me that diamond instead for the same price since that one was certified. Plus he would have to redo the entire bezel to make the slightly larger diamond fit in my ring and he offered to do all that for the same price as he quoted me for the smaller, lower quality diamond.
Additionally, he offered to appraise 6 pieces of my jewelry for $400 when every appraiser I had spoken to previously was $125 per piece of jewelry, which would have been $750. If we include the damaged ring he also offered to appraise for free it would have been $875. For all these appraisals he was charging me less than half the price every other jewelry quoted me.
Joseph and Jewelry Couture have been incredibly affordable and absolutely wonderful to deal with and I would highly recommend them to anyone for you jewelry repairs,...
