SPOILER ALERT! DETAILED REVIEW💕 I loved the Coca-Cola drinks and coke float!!! 10/10 on that! Within the museum, I loved to see the real and antique first ever machines to wash the glass coca cola bottles since those washed each recycled bottle ever so patiently one by one! Imagine the patience that was required for that, patience like that these days is rare in our fast paced society. The natural norm that patience required in those days teaches me how sweet and humbling it is to have the virtue of patience... We should revert to those virtues again. On another note, People were all nice and friendly here, the only reason I don't rate 5 stars is because some of the artifacts were immodestly dressed cartoons on there and the accessibility to reaching the famous "Coke Fountain" ⛲ was difficult to climb up on for someone with health issues. The fountain must've been pleasant to see but it wasn't something easily accessible honestly. That wouldn't be a con if climbing steps isn't an issue but maybe there could be an accommodation for those that can't climb like clear printed images on display in the patio of the fountain itself with a description of its history. The floats were so good though! Love the...
Read moreI couldn't wait to see this museum. I was a little disappointed.I thought it would have the original soda fountain restored and working but it wasn't, it was in another building covered in dust. If restored it would have been beautiful as I'm sure it used to be. I thought there would be more memorabilia but it really looked like just a collectors stuff. There was some original things there but not as much as I expected. It's supposed to be a candy shop as well but there was hardly any candy there at all. As far as souvenirs, not a big choice there either. We all got a coke float and a rootbeer float but even those were pretty soupy, didn't have enough ice cream in them. On the positive side, they do let your pets in, and they let us buy just some ice cream in cups for our dogs. Don't get me wrong, for $3.00 per person it's worth going to see, I just thought there would be more of the...
Read moreThis is a great collection of Coke memorabilia and local history. It’s nothing like the glitzy Coke Museum in Atlanta ( and for some, this is a good thing). It’s $3.50 a person to take a little walk through history. Lots of old advertising pieces. Lots of trademarked items. Documents of the history of the candy company and bottling company. Huge collection of coke bottles from around the world. It’s not a big place but it’s not crowded and you can spend as much time as you want. They sell ice cream and ice cream floats. The customer service is excellent. Knowledgeable. There are some other shops up and down the street nearby that you...
