El Patron 64 Machetes Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Villa Park

I want to be as honest as possible. I did not enjoy my time at the “club scene”, but I did see a bunch of kids ( over 18, under 21 ) having the time of their lives. Walking in though, we were charged $25 to enter and immediately patted down. We went for a, “beer pong/wet tee shirt” contest that was not organized. By not organized, I mean there weren’t designated people ready to do either event. In the end neither event happened. They were hoping people came forward to volunteer for both events. The place itself looks very low quality to be a bar/club. They have dropped ceiling, with ceiling tile light fixture. The tables there were “reserved” ( no one showed up to them )and high tables were $250. We ordered a double whisky which cost us $12. So, we expected a single shot to cost $6.. it cost $10. Later the bartender accidentally admitted she was not charging us the correct prices. It all felt like a scam. In the end, if you’re a child 18+ this is the place for you. This is a great place! We came here to celebrate my step daughter's birthday. The food was delicious and our server was excellent and very attentive. There was live music and the band that was playing was called the Latin Swing Factor and everyone was dancing. They played a mixture of Latin and soul music which was uniquely different for a Chicago band. Everyone was having a great time dancing especially when DJ Prieto starting jamming. He had the dance floor packed. DJ Prieto introduced music videos of artist and played new music that has not been released yet. We got to hear Lisa Lisa's new single Salsa. This is a gem! Our step daughter was extremely happy being celebrated and she was dancing all night long with her friends and she looked beautiful. Thank you for making this day extra special...

I got invited for celebration New Year celebration we pay $25 a person the supposed to provide food for 50 people and only put food for 30 people they serve beef fajitas y chicken fajitas which was horrible test when the rest of the people, there was no food and they say they already serve it and people serve it twice that was completely impossible food was done before the line of people go through they also serve pictures of is Sprite and Coca-Cola the Sprite was water only we guess I will never ever come back to this place horrible attitude I had to mention this he was a lady cooking with the phone in the ear I thought was she was listening music but it wasn't when she turn around I saw in the phone she was hearing a recipe of YouTube how to cook something in the kitchen it just...
