Harbor Freight — Attraction in Vincennes

I called this store to check on availability of a motorcycle lift table. Employee says yes we have a few in stock. So I tell him I am heading that way. He says come on In. So i drive 40 minutes to get there for the manager to tell me there has to be 2 Employees for loading reasons. Which there was two working the registers plus her. "And I brought two ppl with me." Then she calls up front on the radio and tells cashier well it depends what we loading it into. So I tell her my truck, then she says oh could only load it onto a trailer....so now the company protocol has exemptions...? What a joke. I just needed you to ring up my $600.00 purchase. My self and the help I brought would have loaded it. Just like we have in the past with large tool boxes, large metal band saw, drill press, multiple heavy generators etc which no help loading was ever offered. So trust me I didn't expect it this time. I will be explaining this all to corporate soon...

We walked into store #02966 Vincennes on Saturday night looking for a few last minute Christmas gifts. It was 10 minutes before closing time at 7pm. There were several customers still in the store. We were greeted by Justin, was extremely rude saying we had only a few minutes to get whatever. Extremely rude and obnoxious to everyone in the store and even stood at the sliding entrance door advising people not to even come in. He then locked the doors so that not even those of us that made a few purchases couldn’t even get out! He made everyone in the store uncomfortable. I realize closing time is just that but you lost a lot of potential sales from one very rude salesman that evidently doesn’t take your bottom line seriously. Harbor Freight is my husband’s favorite stores but we will go to Jasper store from now on. Merry Christmas...

I like harbor freight and I have purchased some very nice tools from them. Where I am disappointed is that I purchased digital calipers at a decent price from them, but when I went to use them around 6 months later I realized the battery and back plate was malfunctioning. I take the calipers back and mind you they are like “8 dollars”, I am told that I am past the date of where they can be replaced. If someone sells you a faulty product I do not believe I should simply be in the hole for a manufacturer defect. I encourage people to stay away from harbor freight unless they plan on using everything they buy the...
