Great experience. I've been looking for a location that does couples massage and I think we've found it! I've tried multiple popular locations but the experience and technique were all over the place. The most frustrating part was I could never get the same person. I originally walked into this location by mistake but booked an appointment for a later date. It was quiet and had the ambiance of massages I've had in other countries, so I was looking forward to it. It was our first time coming here but Wendy and Alina were wonderful! It's not your typical American massage, where they tend to go for a spa ambiance but that wasn't what we were looking for. Their technique was on point. My husband who is difficult to please, was happy about the way Alina was able to identify stressed points on his body and getting the muscles there to relax. Wendy was also great. I could tell she was well experienced, mirroring each side with pressure and movements. The massage was consistent all the way through. Went in on a spur of the moment decision and I didn't know anything about them.... Bad idea! Receptionist misunderstood my request and that resulted in an unnecessary wait. Once that was worked out, had the worst massage I've ever had. I have never had issues communicating if the pressure was too much or if there was a sore spot anywhere else I've been, except here. I was actually telling her that she needed to stop because she was causing pain and she ignored me! I felt like a truck hit me for days after that session! I don't know if she was ever formally trained, but after that, I doubt it! Probably the worst massage I've ever had. When I first walked in, the lady had me pay right away. I felt it was a little peculiar, but maybe they've had issues in that past, so I let that slide, but what really got me was the fact she made me pay a tip before I gotten any service! I've been putting of a massage for a while and I was late for an appointment due to work, so I wasn't going home without one and I settled on this place. I lay on the table and the lady wasn't using the pressure necessary for deep tissue, so I asked her to apply more pressure. She proceeds to step on my back. I'm thinking there's levels to this and she went from 0 to 100. She completely skipped using her knuckles or an elbow and went to stepping on me... she wasn't exactly a small lady for a Thai massage either.
