Beach Eye Care — Attraction in Virginia Beach

Since I already left a 5 Star review for the First Colonial location; Google will not let me leave another one so I am leaving it on Kemps Rivers location but just know when I talk about Oliver he is at First Colonial…. I had my Lasik procedure done in March by Dr. LOVEine, he was and still is absolutely AMAZING! From my day 1 consultation to yesterday’s most recent appointment I have never experienced such great service from an Eye Doctor and his ENTIRE staff in my life. My regular annual eye exam was due so since I did my Lasik with Beach Eye Care it made most sense to make them my regular eye doctor. I went yesterday and I knew that with getting the MONO-Vision Lasik option I was going to get a pair or glasses that I could wear so if and when I drive at night I can see distance in both eyes, but what I didn’t know is how absolutely AMAZING Oliver (Licensed Optician) would be when it came to the time of choosing my frames… This young man was so patient and so kind and not only that but he was helpful and honest when it came to helping me decide on what frames to get. We had so many pairs of glasses going off and on it was like a FRAME FASHION SHOW lol But not one time did he show any signs of being annoyed, we took our time, we laughed and we finally made a decision…. I can not brag about this young man and the entire BEACH EYE CARE staff enough. Every time I go there it’s always a great experience. Now I’ll be honest; the wait time can be long but hey, that’s the price you pay for having the BEST EYE CARE TEAM in Virginia… trust me they are worth the wait so bring a book, a drink and possibly some lunch lol but I PROMISE YOU when you leave there you will know without a doubt you were cared for by the BEST OF THE BEST …. Thank you Dr. LOVEine and Oliver for making yet another experience something to brag about …....

I pray my review holds up! 4/4/22 was my first visit. I have to g back to pick out and order my glasses that I so desperately need. I had to find a new optometrist because the one i had for 12 years retired without notice and I don't do well with change even though I think it is necessary. Dr. Lee here at Beach Eye Care here at the Kempsville office is the doctor who saw me and I'm in love(not literally) but you know the feeling you get when you hope things are what you pray and they exceed your prayer, hallelujeh!!! Its so hard to trust anymore. You have doctor's doing unnecessary procedures, dentist pulling teeth that didn't need to be pulled and eye doctors diagnosing you with conditions you don't have, or get this, being charged 850 dollars for a missed appointment that they called to reschedule(not here) all for a dollar bill. I always look at reviews and this place had the majority of 5 stars. I'm hoping things continue to go well here at beach eye care! The first day impression was very welcoming and things sometimes go sour after they get you in the door. I don't see that happening with this place.
