This is the first bad review I've left for a company. But unfortunately they're very poor at following up. I originally bought a washer roughly a year ago. It was a Whirlpool. I needed one that had extra capacity with an agitator. I bought one that was roughly $600. First I got given the wrong washer. I took it home. I hooked it up and it didn't have an agitator so I had to drive it back and return it. I then a got the correct washer. Took it home and realized that it wasn't going to be sufficient for cleaning my clothes.... My old washer was from the '80s and always worked great. My clothes always came out spotless. The water filled up all the way and the agitator would vigorously spin the clothes The new washers with the water sensor and the energy efficient units do not sufficiently clean the clothes. Unfortunately, I didn't look at the reviews of this washer before I bought it... That's on me. I asked if I could return it after one use to buy the speed Queen commercial washer. That was $1,000 and never heard back. After two phone calls. I told them I would pay the difference and still got ghosted. After a year and about 2 months. The washer is now broken. The computer is not functioning. It's always on drain mode. I called for help and they said since I didn't have the extended warranty I was out of luck. It's interesting. My washer from the '80s worked for 30 years and this one broke after one year. Pretty much exactly when the warranty expired. I'm going to put it on the curb and have the city pick it up for metal scrap. I bought a used older model that works a lot better.. very unfortunate experience for a company that spends a ton of money on commercials saying how dependable and customer service oriented they are....

I recently purchased a dryer, it stopped working within a few days. I then called and requested service repair. East Coast servicer came out within a few days, he was here for 5 minutes to tell me my outlet wasn't the correct voltage.
Fine, I'll have a SECOND electrician come out and tell me what I already know. Now I have paid for two separate electrical companies to tell me it's not the outlet, which I told the servicer while he was at my home and already knew it wasn't the outlet. HUGE waste of my time and money, and not to mention the amount of dirty clothes I have with three small boys!
I then requested for a management of the service department to please send someone else back out and please help us. Her name was Jenn, never spoke with her, I called multiple times and was always told she would call back, which she never did.
I finally was able to get some help from a manager at the sales store location in Virginia Beach. He then directed me to a GE tech who was absolutely AMAZING! Who found the problem, my one week old dryer had a faulty part. He ordered it and got us taken care of.
