I debated about making this review but after spending $264 on this appointment I’m upset. This was my first time at this salon and it was chosen because they advertised themselves as a curly hair stylist. I did the consultation and they said they would be able to dye my previously blonde hair back to my natural color (the underneath portion of my hair was virgin hair to use as a color match) and touch up the roots for some blonde money pieces. The day of the appt she foils the front of my hair for the money pieces and apply a red filler to the rest of my blonde hair. She then applies the dark brown directly overtop of the red…… leaving barely any time for the hair to process. When it comes to rinsing the hair out, she rinses the now bleached hair in the front and the dark brown hair TOGETHER causing the dark hair dye to bleed into the blonde. Not to mentioned even after toning the blonde money pieces my hair is still bright yellow at the roots. She then tried to remove the brown hair dye that bled into the money pieces using a color remover and bleach and then tried to tone the hair again. She put the ashy toner on the blonde which ended up also getting on the brown parts of my hair turning all of my hair an ashy tone. Then she applies a protein treatment which if the already 6 times she has washed my hair out didn’t remove all the dye from my head the now protein treatment did. When we go to style my hair the brown parts of my hair now has a grey ashy tone to it and was clearly not filled correctly as there was zero dimension to the brown and the color looked extremely flat and patchy. Also, the blonde parts of my hair are 3 different colors. She “styles” my hair and puts me under the dryer and when I come out this to her was acceptable enough for me to leave looking like this. The color was ugly and I hated it and she even knew that the brown color was not correct and didn’t take in some areas but was just done with trying to fix my hair. She even mentioned while trying to fix her mistakes that I would leave there with a color I was happy with which I did not. I then had to spend more money at Sally’s to fix what I spent $264 on a professional to do. The lady at Sally’s was appalled at my hair but I was able to fix my hair myself and get it to all be an even dark brown color. Not to mention I had to rebleach my roots because they were done unevenly as you can see from the pictures below. So to all that we’re interested in coming to this Salon please do your research before hand.

I have been coming to Hair we are for a while and love their work but recently found the customer service to be terrible. I had first scheduled my appointment for a full foil with two colors and a Keratin Smoothing treatment prior to the end of a deployment in preparations to have my hair done upon return while I had time off, I made this appointment about a month or more in advance but had to reschedule due to the stylist having to take personal time off. The stylist had texted me the day prior to inform me of this and I was understanding. I rescheduled and waited another few weeks for my appointment. I confirmed my appointment on June 2nd over the phone with the stylist, then on June 6th I confirmed again via a text that I received. On June 9th I showed up to the salon for my appointment at 9am to no one there, I waited till 10 when they opened and was told that the stylist no longer worked there and that they had called and left a voicemail to reschedule. I do not have voicemail set up on my phone so there would be no way to leave a voicemail. There were no other attempts to contact me for my appointment, no texts, emails, cancelation via their appointment site, nothing and I was just told I would need to wait ANOTHER week for their next available appointment. I find it highly unprofessional that in today's technology-based era that a company would simply "leave a voicemail" and when no response was received, not attempt any other form of communication. My scheduled hair appointment was $500+ for the services requested plus having extra-long and thick hair and no one could send an email, text, etc. when there was an issue, but they can send me texts for appointment reminders, conformations, etc.? Unfortunately, the third time is not a charm in most cases, and I will no longer be supporting them and will be looking elsewhere for my hair needs. If you have ample time to waste and an open schedule to fit in wherever they can get you in then they do great work, but I have limited time available and have higher standards for customer service than they have...

Taking this place to small claims court! Denied color correction. Said “ We will refund you today via Zelle or Venmo. Owner lied and denied my zelle refund after her employees were there on the phone with me back and forth the whole day ( the owner told them to speak with me and work out the details; get my bank information, and the 2 sweet girls at the front had conversations with me the whole afternoon so $195 refund would go through….. little did they know the Owner herself DENIED the Zelle request and the Venmo request within minutes at 4:32 pm. Was this a trick or something? Not only was I defrauded, the Owner got those girls to pretend she was going to refund my highlights service. I said I would not write a bad review - So I politely let the owner know via a Hallmark card and a $20 tip how I knew something could be done and worked out especially since she talked me out of getting a strand test for lifting blonde over brown. My hair is common and brought a sample photo of what I wanted and it was typical blonde highlights like Sarah Jessica Parker or Jennifer Anniston or any other blonde person who is brown and wants highlights. I was new there - have had my blonde done for 3 1/2 decades now with only 2 times something happened - no big deals - just 2 times literally years past… My hair was over processed and was gray, purple from toner and started to get a greenish tinge. Need I say more, ESPECIALLY SINCE I ASKED FOR A timed TEST STRAND on processing BUT SHE TALKED ME OUT OF IT. - SO,,, I left the salon after hours as it was now closed, and paid before my hair had dried , left with it damp; Instead of writing a bad review, I reached out But was reemed out and denied any fix or any look over. Had to get someone else to fix ita d may need to cut off my hair. I have phoned and phoned but no response to her promises of a...

My hair cut was not even. When brining my hair to the front, the left side is very obviously longer than the right side. I also requested more shape with layers. I showed a lot of pictures for reference; all the pictures were “big” hair styles. My hair still looks as it did before, still flat and just shorter. I was told we could do the looks I requested by laying my hair. I thought it might have just been how it was styled, but after styling it myself there still isn’t any fuller shape and body like in the reference pictures I provided. I’ve attached some reference photos to this review. Online the service was listed at 95. Upon arriving, my stylist said the price online was incorrect and that it would be an additional charge for my hair length. I can understand charging more for hair length if I was getting color or highlights, but it was a hair cut. But all prices should be update. It’s very easy to update a website today. Highly unprofessional on the salons part. Renee, my stylist, was very nice and friendly. I’m just very disappointed with paying $115 for something I’m not very happy with. Edit to add in response to salon: The price changing was not stated when I booked the service. Renee also clearly stated that the price online is incorrect and that there would be an additional charge for the length of my hair, which is also not stated on the website. I rechecked, and only color service states that the price may change, not the cut itself. Upon checking Renee's booking again, she now has her price listed at 135, not the 95 I saw before, which leads me to believe there has been many complaints about the changing price.

I went in yesterday to see Renee for partial highlights. I wanted baby lights because I like my natural hair color I just wanted to give it a little something extra. I really like the way she does the baby lights she's really good at the placement. My issue is she didn't manage her time very well and by the time I got my hair washed out she did a very quick trim on the ends didn't mess with my layers at all and then she sent me over to the receptionist to blow dry my hair so she could take her next client. Also if she had I'll dried my hair she would have realized that the color didn't come out the way I wanted it my hair kind of looks silver in the light. I am a single mom with four children two of which are autistic. I only get to do my hair like that once a year and I don't think it's fair that I overpaid for product that I shouldn't have had to pay for. My hair didn't even get cut the way I wanted or styled which is supposed to be a part of the pricing. And I have worked hard this past year to take care of my hair and to grow it out. I still tipped her decently all of my friends said I shouldn't have tipped her at all and I don't even like leaving reviews like this but $265 with a $35 tip is a lot of money for something that didn't even really turn out the way I wanted because she couldn't finish the job because she didn't manage her time. I kind of wish that I just left my hair the way it was and use that money for something my kids could have actually used.
