Recreation Park — Attraction in Visalia

The police came and gives us 4 hours to leave the park. We are homeless and they wanted us to go somewhere that we don't want to be at. But couldn't move everything all at once and plus I'm disabled too . We are all was trying to get everything packed up then it got to cold to do anything then the police came at 4:30am and arrested us and didn't tell us y and didn't read us our rights. And keeped us for 12 hours. For what an they detroyed our stuff. My medication my school welding equipments. An now what can I do it's cost me money and didn't let my dog go with my friend and they said no. I don't...

Tried to bring my family here. Filled with gangsters and wasn't a very welcoming environment. The homeless didn't bother us at all but I could see them using and buying from the gangsters. Weird place to be because its literally next to the recreational building skate park and baseball stadium. Thought this short guy was a kid but when I realized he wasn't a teen I called my daughter away fast. My family and I will never come here on our vacations again. Loved the restaurants further down....

at first this place was really nice to take the kids but over time it started getting destroyed by the homeless and the high school kids that would hang out there. It's definitely gotten a lot messier and there's no shading on the playground area so you can't be there for that long. It is nice for a picnic in the grassy area...
