El San Marcos Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Visalia

I walked in for the first time, cuz i wanted to eat a Chile Verde Wet Burrito, never been here before ,but I was close by. I ordered my burrito and boy was it pricey. I opened my box to make sure they got my order right. I tell the cashier that this is not a Chile verde burrito, there is not pork meat and it had the green sauce that looks like green enchilada sauce from a can. The chef comes out and tells me that is a Chile Verde Burrito the meat is in the inside and the green sauce is Chile verde. I didn't want to complain, so I went home with this burrito. I took a bite of this so call Chile verde burrito and first it looks like chicken meat and it does not taste like Chile verde. It was the worst Chile verde burrito I have ever had. I could not eat it it was just gross. I will never eat...

We read a short story in lifestyles magazine praising the authenticity and all around positive aspects of this restaurant.We were not disappointed!, My son had a vegan burrito, my wife tacos & I ordered a shrimp taco & chicken enchilada on a special request as the server was glad to oblige. The shrimp taco was the finest, tastiest taco I’ve EVER had in my life !! I was so full & satisfied I brought the enchilada home for dinner. What an extraordinary wonderful dining experience! I plan to comeback here...

BEST MEXICAN FOOS IN VISALIA!!! This is a must try. Everything we had was perfect and the staff was great - helpful and accommodating. They gave us options that we took and were well pleased with the recommendation - enchiladas and quesabirria!! Highly recommended by us after trying them.
