If you are a low income or minimal means monetary that is do not go to Central Texas marketplace. If you go into any of the big name stores an aren't wearing Gucci or another pricey brand they will follow you through the store I had it happen to me at Kohl's. This woman followed me through the pet supplies through the men's section..... Till she finally cornered me in the Christmas decoration aisle and asked me ma'am you've been in here for a while is there something I can help you find like I was some sort of raving thief I was window shopping inside their store I was not drawing attention to myself except for the fact that I was not dressed to the nines and that's why she stopped me. She then proceeded to tell me well I don't think I've ever seen you in here so I just wanted to make sure you knew where everything was..... If I could give Central Texas marketplace a negative 100 I would. From the Baylor Scott & White walk-in clinic where they said they do not accept my UnitedHealthcare community plan do any of the stores that I went into, you are made to feel like less of a human being if you do not have at least $1,000 to spend. To call this place bougie is an understatement. The only cars that pull into those parking lots are denali's escalades Mercedes etc...... I'm just saying...

Read moreThis is apparently the largest shopping center in Waco, but the biggest difference from Richland Mall is that the Central Texas Marketplace is a collection of strip malls rather than an indoor shopping center. You can walk around this Marketplace if you are willing and able, but you will be exposed to the elements, so consider the weather. Most people who shop here probably just park near the business they plan to go to rather than park at one spot and browse many of the stores. There's no food court, but there are restaurants generally on the opposite side of the parking lot from the big stores. This is a great place to shop for bargains and an enormous variety of products, as well as to get a massage or other beauty or health services. There are some benches available, but some of them are outdoors. There is a huge parking lot throughout the Marketplace. This place is actually within walking distance of...
