On 12/21/21 myself and my little God sister went into this boutique in search for the perfect shirt. I'm African American and she is Caucasian...black and white. She is 14 and I'm over 40đ... Anyway we went in and started looking! No one ever approached us, said hello, can I help you.....nothing at all. But I kept hearing steps every time I moved...so I said to little sis let's go this way and see if she follows. Wow this young lady was really following us around and when we would look at her she would "Straighten" things up...so me and little sis had a little fun with it! We would intentionally get behind something so she would scramble to see us. I hate the fact that someone who looks up to me and loves hanging out with me had to witness such a terrible thing. A place that she recommended that we go in cause she loves getting clothes from there. I don't know if this young lady just didn't know better or if she was sent out to watch us. Sad thing is that we heard her talking about the sale sale and percentage off to other customers. She never even said hello to us. Followed us around like criminals. But on our way out I actually invited her to look around with us since she was following so closely. Yet I'll still go in there just to give her something to do. She looked like she was about 19-23...blonde/highlights...I don't know what kind of shoes she had on. They kinda looked like knock off chucks cause the bottom of the shoe sounded like tap shoes. So whoever Courtney is I say to you...when a person of color enters your establishment teach your employees to treat everyone the same. With the same courtesy and respect! This was definitely not a good look for your store. It's not ok to follow people around and treat them like criminals and profile them....
Read moreFor all my XS and S girls, they hardly carry our size. You'll have better luck here if you like how larger sizes fit, or are looking for jewelry and accessories. After sifting through various clothing throughout their dim lit store, they mainly carry L, XL and above. I saw two size M and one size S. There may have been more, but it was so dark I should have brought a flashlight.
I asked one of the associates if they carry size S, she stated that they are 'having a hard time getting size S from the brands they get their clothing from'. Hmm. This is a pro because all sizes are beautiful and larger sizes deserve representation. For me, this is a con because I won't find clothing to feel beautiful in and I had no idea before stepping in. Generally when shops carry inventory of exclusive sizes, they'll advertise this with bigger/smaller mannequins, or photos of models that represent their target audience.
If you're looking for dim lighting, jewelry and accessories, and/or larger sized...
Read moreCute clothes. Bought almost an entire outfit from this store. Did not receive customer service like everyone else that was shopping. No greeting, no friendly interaction at checkout, no offer to help me as I struggled to carry my box of shoes, two shirts, and earrings that I kept fumbling. A lady right next to me dropped something and an employee came running to her side. I mean I didn't have any makeup on and I was in workout clothes, but I didn't think I looked like a hobo that didn't deserve the same service as every other lady in there. Will not be coming back. Only good thing I got out of it was my adorable dog mom shirt I've been dying to get. No thanks, plenty of boutiques that are...
