I’m really glad me and my wife stumbled upon MC Art Supplies! Every few months we come here to the VA Hospital and try to make the most of the long drive by shopping the bigger Goodwill, ReStore, etc. So imagine our excitement when when we found a locally run, dedicated Art Store here to add to our list. Here at BCS where we live, we only have the big Retail Hobby and Craft Stores and while the one does have a somewhat decent selection, they’re still not a Dedicated Art Store and like they’re name says focus more on the Hobby/Craft stuff like, scrapbooking, t-shirt making, knitting, sewing, plastic flower arrangements? So it’s nice to go in a place that is just Art Focused. They of course have Acrylic, Oil, Watercolors, lots of Mediums for mixing and a Huge selection of Soft Pastels (Retail these are usually only in Box sets) They also have all your Pencils for sketching and coloring, just a really great overall selection. Plus, the Absolute Best part about an Art Store like this is the Atmosphere and Friendly, Knowledgeable Staff. Seriously, big Retail Hobby Stores will literally hire anyone regardless if they’ve even held a paint brush. So Beginners asking questions usually get no answer or lots of questionably right ones. Then they lack most supplies Novice Artist are looking for, focusing on cheaper low quality products and kits. But, you come to a Art Store like this and your not going to have to search for someone to help you and then they more then likely will actually be able to do so. Plus, they have Workshops to help beginners grow or even advanced can do for fun and stress relief. Not to mention the bigger selection of more advanced Art supplies. For sure 5 Stars, I highly recommend checking it out and we can’t wait to go back ourselves!

MC Art Supplies has to be the most wonderful place on earth to do business. It certainly is unsurpassed in Waco, and in my considerable experience. The owners greet me at the door, by name. They stock the brands and the products I like. If they don't have it on hand, it appears within a couple of days. They schedule workshops by product reps. A wonderful place. i think his name was Brandon and we l he was extremely helpful. He went above and beyond to help me. Plus, i loved his associate, Sienna. She assisted me throughout the store, was very attentive and talkative.
