Spice Village is a Waco gem that offers a unique and delightful shopping experience. Unlike your typical mall or shopping center, Spice Village is a sprawling indoor marketplace housing a diverse collection of small businesses and vendors. This creates a vibrant and bustling atmosphere, making it a fun destination to explore for a few hours. What truly sets Spice Village apart is the sheer variety of goods available. You can find everything from handcrafted jewelry and locally made art to trendy clothing boutiques, home décor items, gourmet food products, and unique gifts you won't find anywhere else. I was particularly impressed by the number of vendors showcasing their own creations, adding a personal touch to the shopping experience. Whether you're searching for a special gift, looking to redecorate your home, or simply want to treat yourself, Spice Village has something for everyone. Beyond the shopping itself, the atmosphere is lively and engaging. The layout encourages browsing and discovery, and the vendors are generally friendly and approachable. It's easy to lose track of time as you wander through the different booths, discovering hidden treasures at every turn. I also appreciated that there were some food vendors offering snacks and drinks, which is a nice touch for those who want to make a day of it.
Spice Village is more than just a shopping destination; it's an experience. It's a place to support local businesses, find unique items, and enjoy a fun and vibrant atmosphere. If you're visiting Waco, I highly recommend adding Spice Village to your itinerary. You won't be...
Read moreI would put a negative if it was available. So yesterday 6/30/25 myself, husband and our 6 year old went into Spice Village. I shop here all the time and my husband recommends this place to go at this work but no more! So I had just shopped in here and wanted to see more so we went in while my husband watched our son. We were in there not even 5 minutes when my son came up to me crying saying the manager got onto daddy. So my 6 year old asked some people if they would vote for him to become a Jr. Ranger. Something he has been working on for months. Apparently my son was talking to someone when the manager came up to him and my husband stating they needed to leave because they were SOLICITING! Are you serious! You should be ashamed of yourselves because I was shopping in there and I am pretty sure the people that have booths in there didn't mind!!! Especially since my son is apart of this community and this could be great for him to win and for our community! So you had to come up to a 6 year old and his daddy and be rude?!? I will never be back and people should know that there is a time and a place for everything! That was the time!!!! Rude!!! And as for your information no your wrong owner of Spice Village! And say you were you couldn't have heard any of the conversation because you were not near. It is for a local boy asking for a free vote trying to help the environment and animals! He is 6 years old! So please just stop! You and your great manager...
Read moreI wanted to give this place the benefit of the doubt for their extremely rude and TERRIBLE customer service skills, but after reading review after review complaining about the same thing I can see it’s just a never ending problem. I’m not from Texas, and saw that the hotel I am staying at recommended going to spice village. Thought I’d give it a shot. I saw that they closed pretty early, nbd. Went over there and because they were closing in about 10 minutes I decided not to go in, rather poke my head in to just look around and see if it was worth coming back another day. A sales associate standing near the cash register glared at me and said “uhhh we’re like closing in 10 minutes sooo you can’t shop…” in the absolute rudest tone and in the most unprofessional way. No hello or anything, just a downright rude infliction and tone. Imagine Regina George from mean girls but worse. Meanwhile there were other people browsing the store! Needless to say that, no, it is not worth coming back; not because of their merchandise but because of the awful customer service. Coming from someone who is worked in customer service do better. Seeing as this has been a recurring issue for years someone needs to fix it and put the store...
