I waited an hour for cheese sticks and I never got them. Closed my tab and got the heck out. Asked them 3 times when they'd come out and they said they were cooking. Some say those cheese sticks are still frying.
And the Shiner Bock on draft tasted terrible. The bartender tried to tell me Shiner on draft just tastes different like bruh, I ain't no 21 year old Baylor Baptist kid that's only had Dr Pepper till now. I know what Shiner on draft tastes like. I said "Well, maybe it's just old. I've had old beer before and it doesn't taste right." And then some guy, who worked at the bar but was hanging out on his day off was like "I just changed the keg the other day." Like dude, just admit the Shiner went bad. It's OK, it happens. I get that beer goes bad. Just accept it.

Read moreThis is where my friend and I go after a meeting. The bartenders are friendly and remember how I like my drink prepared. The atmosphere is dark, but friendly. There's usually a game on when we go. It's a great place to watch a game. There are usually people there who get as animated as I like to get watching a game. It's a small place. Kind of a "Cheers" vibe, but I don't think anyone knows my name. (Totally fine with that.) It feels like a neighborhood bar, although it's across town.
