I usually shop at the Zales location in the mall, but after a very disappointing experience there with a couple of the staff members who refused to help me with a warranty repair, I was told to try the outlet store and ask for Kevin—who had always taken care of me in the past.
From the moment I walked into the outlet, the atmosphere was completely different. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and eager to help—even though I initially came in just to get a warranty issue handled. There was no attitude, no hassle—just excellent customer service. They smiled, thanked me for coming in, and quickly replaced the battery in my watch without any of the issues the mall store claimed made it "impossible."
While they worked on my watch, I took some time to browse and ended up purchasing a few new rings—so it turned into a win-win. Priscilla helped me during my visit and was absolutely fantastic. This was my first time meeting her, but she was warm, professional, and incredibly helpful. Kevin, as always, was amazing—we had just lost track of him when he moved locations. I also chatted with a guy and another woman during my visits, and though I didn’t catch their names, they were both great and patient while I took a few days to decide on my rings.
If you're shopping for jewelry in Waco, skip the hassle and go straight to the Zales Outlet. The team here is kind, professional, and truly focused on helping their customers. I’ll definitely be coming here...
Read moreI took my engagement ring in to have it repaired. The female who waited on me seemed nice at first but quickly showed she could care less about helping me. She had a condescending attitude that made me feel like she thought I was beneath her. I left my ring to be repaired. After picking up my ring I noticed that the setting that had been repaired was much higher than the rest and the setting above it felt like it had been sheared off and was cutting into my finger. I took it back to the store and the same female looked at it and said that she could send it back but that I would have to pay for the sheared off setting because they didn't touch that one. It was not like that prior to me bringing it in to have the initial repair but she repeated that I would have to pay for it. I took my ring back and went to the Zales in the Richland Mall where I explained everything that had transpired (there was a lot more to this story than I am writing here because this is long enough already). I was treated so differently there. They treated me like I mattered. I felt seen and heard and they did every thing in their power to make it right. The outlet location is horrible. I do not recommend. If you want to be treated right and to find beautiful jewelry I recommend you go to the Richland Mall...
Read moreWe had a less than pleasant experience yesterday.
My fiance and I walked in, fully intent to both purchase rings for our wedding this fall. We expressed that interest to the sales person who approached us. My fiance pointed out a ring she liked to look at closer. After, the sales person made no effort to show us more or similar styles. Mind, no one else was in store as far as customers go.
We browsed the store on our own, my fiance openly saying she was interested in some styles, with no attention from the sales person. We eventually come to the Men’s rings and I had to ask for the sales person to join us, as she had sat down to chat with a coworker. I asked about one I liked and She said it would be 6-10 weeks to order. I asked if there was a rush delivery option, to which she said no. No effort was made to show me other styles, similar rings, anything.
It honestly felt like she treated us as if we couldn’t either afford rings or if we weren’t serious. So we left without a word from anyone in store as we went. That sales person cost them a $10,000 sale.
We decided to go across the street to Kindlers where we were treated with attention and respect and found some beautiful rings they ordered for us. Save your time and frustration, go see a jeweler who cares about...
