Artisans' Gallery — Attraction in Waitsfield

Shop/buy local takes new meaning when you step into Artisans' Gallery - where everything in store is made in Vermont!

I can't tell you how many times I've traveled and been in hunt of cool gifts or other unique souvenirs that appear to be made local - only to flip them over and see that they were made in China or elsewhere...very frustrating.

Fortunately, Lori, the friendly owner of this art-variety store shares in that same frustration. Whether it's a vivid painting, decadent cake mix, detailed glass tableware, intricate wood etching, or handmade jewelry (some made by Lori herself!), if it wasn't made in the Green Mountain State, you won't find it in Artisans' Gallery! After exploring all the unique rooms within the store, I snagged myself some tangy jalapeño/horseradish sauce and some soaps, and my friend picked up a few things for his family back in NY as well.
