I planned a cruise on Royal Caribbean for 3 girlfriends and myself. Although it was very exciting, it was also a logistical nightmare. Trying to get four ladies from around the country to all be at the same place and same time proved to be challenging. I got everything arranged for our special "Girl's Trip" and each of us were able to get the same time off work. Then I received an email that our trip had been canceled! Royal Caribbean 'chartered' the ship to someone else. I am still shocked by this. They pretty much stole our special vacation. That cruise had been booked and paid for by thousands of people. Thousands of people who had their plans ripped out from under them! What I received was a very cold and unconcerned notice that I would simply have to change all our plans. The trip was my special gift to the most important people in my life, and now it was unceremoniously taken away. I was not compensated in any way. This was one of the most greedy examples of a major corporation only caring...

It makes cruising so much easier to pay for versus the large deposit and large 2 or 3 payments that the cruise lines require. The process between cruises.com and the cruise line was seem less and we were immediately able to view our reservation with the cruise line online. One thing we noticed, the pricing was exactly the same as with the cruise line and we verified with the cruise line that the cabin we were booking would accommodate 4 people, but the cruises.com site said that our cabin would accommodate up to 3 people, although it did allow our reservation for 4 to go through. Just wanted to mention that in case anyone was hesitant on booking because of room occupancy limits. You can easily view the exact cabin specifications on the cruise lineās website to make sure youāre okay in that regard. Iād still book through this site for the easy payment...

The reason Iām giving four stars is for several reasons: AnneMarie said she could never send us prices via email. That was very frustrating when it came to me having to take my own copies notes. cruises.com doesnāt have āplanningā tech for me to favorite and add notes and share with others. That was a manual thing I had to do by printing out cruise details to then write notes by hand to then take pics by phone and share with 5 other people to review and prioritize and select the right cruise. Trip advisor and Airbnb have tech that helps me in group planning but not cruises.com.
Everything is a long phone call with cruises.com to make progress and then to book. It is a problem they could solve.
Still Iām grateful to have a go-to solution knowing cruises.com...
