East Bay Nature — Attraction in Walnut Creek

First off, there is another store locally that supplies bird seed, feeders, etc. My experience with that store and everything at East Bay Nature is like comparing a convenience store and a super market. Plus, the employee who assisted me was more interested in selling to me than listening to what I wanted and needed. Her idea of that had me paying more for less than I already was with an online or local pet food store.

Secondly, the knowledge, care, and enthusiasm that I've found here excite me to continue doing what I do: provude local birds, and squirrels, with some food to help them get a long a little better under sometimes harsh weather conditions.

Finally, there prices make it possible for me to participate on a scale that seems to help. The delivery is easy and efficient.

Before I started buying from East Bay Nature, I was paying two times as much and without the personal support. Joanie and the staff are incredible. This is a small business that deserves every cent...

I’m not sure many people know about this place, but they should. It has a great selection of bird seed along with all sorts of accessories for the yard, home or for gifts. The people who work here are amazing and nice and I especially like the pigeons that sit on the railings out front. They almost don’t look real. I like the “No Waste” version of bird seed but I’m sure other types are good too. The small birds at my house seem to enjoy the seed I get so I guess the No Waste works for them too.
