Thumbs up Aaron, you are awesome. !!!! you represent the NORDSTROM experience thank you for taking hours to make sure my credit card was working properly. He literally made phone call after phone call after phone call… it took hours of phone calls to make sure my card was working properly and I know that he did this because I have been shopping in the shoe department there for many years for decades, and most people know me. When I first came in early that morning, there was a lady who helped me, She found me three pairs of shoes after she saw there was a problem with my card she went on the other way. & started helping other customers Mind you I wanted to purchase some of the same shoes 3 days ago & left because my card was not working. Aaron was helping me with that purchase as well. He felt really bad. I saw the look on his face because he knew I was upset when I left …something was wrong with my card and I didn’t know what it was I pay my bill every month on time. I ended up leaving going to get coffee at the e-bar came back and she saw me and claimed me as a customer not willing to do the work to call to make sure my card was working . She only wanted the commission, and she let Aaron know that she was waiting on me first she even put all my shoes back, but still wanted to commission.🫨 Aaron took the time to make sure I got the Nordstrom’s experience putting me first above his commission.it took hours one of the lead card service manager left word in the office to unblock my card. Her name is Jennifer. So many mistakes were made but they could not find Jennifer in the office. Maybe she went home for the day. It’s a bad feeling when a person wants to claim you as a customer, but not willing to do the work to make sure you were taking care of as a consumer and Aaron made that happen for me .. I feel bad that he had to be on the phone for that long but he did not give up until he made sure that I had the shoes that I wanted to purchase! I’m praying he got all the commission for that sell that day. It is only fair. Let me say that- Aaron I will continue to shop at NORDSTROM because of what you did because I was going to give up and never come back to the store ever again!! I promise you!!!
He represented Customer Service to its fullest potential. Some of you need to take notes from Aaron -It’s not about you getting the commission…. . It’s about the experience for your consumer.

Read moreThis review is in regards to the fragrance department at Nordstrom, and very specifically the employee named Bernie, who specializes in the “Creed” brand cologne.
I have recently been gravitating more towards Creed colognes and it’s very difficult to find places in public to actually sample them and get a good feel for the scent, without having to go online to buy decant samples to try first.
Bernie was extremely knowledgeable and very fun to talk to. We literally chatted probably half an hour in regards to some of the history of the Creed colognes, as well as the uses that different people have for them, and his knowledge was so deep that he actually showed me different combinations of scents, by spraying two different scents on a sample card. When two separate cologne scents combined made a new smell that was dynamic, and complex and very nice, and its something he essentially created just experimenting with the scents. The manufacturers really should pick Bernies brain for some of his ideas.
I mentioned an upcoming international trip i would be taking and how i was trying to find a good scent that would be ideal for the “vibe” of that region. He recommended a scent and sprayed a sample card for me. Not only did it exactly embody the vibe i had explained the longer i held the sample and it dried down the more i liked it.
Simply put, the guy knows his stuff, is super friendly, was super easy to talk to, and I honestly feel like my knowledge of that brand of cologne grew tenfold, simply from that conversation with him. I would honestly drive out of my way to come to this specific Nordstrom, specifically to go buy these colognes from Bernie, because the experience was that good.

I came 3 times last year in attempts to get new skincare. It was exhausting trying to get someone to help me without trying to persuade me just because they work with a certain brand. I came in to return the wrong products the counter manager at Dior had given me (crazy experience) and was looking at products, Tina was the only one that came to ask if I needed help. I told her I was looking for a particular item and she started going through everything to help me find it and asked me questions on what I was trying to focus on, my skincare etc. she gave me some samples to try out and her business card. Since then I have her business card in my skincare drawer. I ended up moving to Sacramento and going to the Roseville store. I do not recommend the La Mer counter there at all. I ended up calling and asking for Tina yesterday. I ended up switching from Shiseido to Dior to La Mer moisturizing cream but wanted to switch to a different texture. (Yes it can be pricey but it’s worth it if you’re particular about your skin, I have extremely sensitive dry skin in the winter and combination at other times of the year) She told me all about the new creams, gave me a full breakdown of the different options and what will be better with skin types. I also needed the eye concentrate so she is sending me that with some samples of creams so I know exactly what to switch to!
