Parker Landscape Design — Attraction in Warren Township

Professionalism, precision and perfection. These are three words that describe Scott Parker. He and his team did a outstanding job on a large job at my house here in Flemington.

The scope of the services which we hired Scott to perform were: walkway installation both paver and rivers stones with edge restraints, Installation of stealth drains, sod, ornamentals removal, grass seeding and masonry Replastering.

The entire process from start to finish was the most enjoyable and simple process I have ever experience working with a design company. When we first met we filled out a detailed survey of the scope of services that we were looking for and Scott was able to take that and present to us at our first meeting here at the house a robust list in order from prioritization of what was needed. One of the best things about Scott is he will never try to upsell you on services that you don’t need and/or would not add value to your home.

Scott has not only over 25 years of design experience, he uses the latest technology in terms of materials to ensure that all of his customers investments retain their value over many years. He is one of the few true procurement and installation experts as it relates to working with Techo Bloc. That is the material that we went with because it is the highest offering and it is best suited for long-term retention of aesthetic given the varying weather here in New Jersey.

Leading up to the first day of our job Scott kept me up-to-date on how everything would work and on the first day he and his foreman and team of five skilled experts, showed up and went to work right away. Scott and his foreman was on site every day to answer any questions oversee the process and make sure that they were meeting my requirements.

His entire team was extremely knowledgeable and all members that worked here had a strong understanding of the scope of services and everybody worked extremely cohesively and as a result they were able to finish in four business days which is truly amazing.

I first contacted Parker Homescape to do a redesign of our landscaping in the front of our house (basically getting away from a mulch and pachysandra layout to a brighter rock-bed and varied plant layout). After meeting with several companies Scott Parker really stood out among everyone I consulted with. He really took the time to not only listen to what we wanted (which I know nothing of landscaping and plants) but went over several options until we found the design that we loved (which included lots of lighting options to really make the front of our house stand out). When it came time to do the work his entire team was extremely professional and FAST! I couldn't believe how quickly they were able to transform our front landscape and design.

Parker Homescape did such an amazing job I contracted them again to completely redo the pavement of my front walkway and rebuild our front porch and landing. Again not really knowing what type of stone and design I wanted I knew I could talk with Scott with what would work well with our house and landscaping. Scott's design far surpassed what we had in mind. His design helped transform our walkway and landing into a beautiful design that I still can't stop staring at when I'm home. Additionally, when planning he worked around our schedule and made the time to sit down with us at night (which worked best for us) and made sure we were completely comfortable with how we wanted to proceed every step of the way.

Outside of the work they have performed I also do have to say that one of the biggest sticking points of anyone I engage with is the service aspect of the job. In regards to Parker Homescape anytime I've had a question, needed a tweak in my landscaping or needed to change something out they are extremely responsive and have also always followed up in a timely manner no matter what the request.

I almost forgot to write a review until I walked outside today just as the sky was getting dark and our new landscape lighting came on and illuminated all the amazing work Scott and his team has done! I have to say, I am not an easy person to work with. I think I know what is best and often don't let a professional guide me in creative direction, but Scott I trusted and I am glad I did.

Parker Homescape did the following work for us:

1. redid the path to the front door, the builder of the house sadly did a terrible job and it had become a tripping hazard for our guests. Our new pavers look amazing and have upheld 2 winters with no sign of wear/tear.
2. lighting for our pathway, uplighting for our existing trees, and new landscaping.
3. selected new plants, including trees to grace the front of our house, front lawn, and driveway entry. And all has been done with extreme professionalism and perfect execution.

My favorite thing about Parker Homescape? Once you hire them you don't have to worry. They are there when they say they will be, and they get the job done. Too many times I have hired folks at a cheaper rate only to have it redone or only to have to be SO involved myself that I might as well have done it myself.

Oh and another favorite thing about Parker Homescape? They don't just ditch you when the job is complete. They repaired a cut wire and a bent light that our lawn maintenance guys knocked around, they have come back to adjust lighting on the house, they have come back just to replace a boulder with a larger boulder.
