Biased? You tell me.
Let me walk you through what happened and you decide if this was just a glitch—or something deeper.
Backstory:
I tried booking a ticket through the B&B Theatres app using the Backstage Pass, but the benefits didn’t apply. So, I showed up at the theatre to figure it out in person.
First Contact: I approached the counter calmly, explained the issue, and the staff member said he’d call the manager. Fair enough—I was hoping for clarity.
Enter the Manager—this is where things shifted. He walks in with a cold stare—wide-eyed, zero warmth. If you’ve seen Alex Pereira face off with Yuri Boyka, you know the vibe.
Still, I kept my tone respectful and explained the situation.
What followed was a rushed, vague explanation:
“Our system isn’t integrated with other B&B locations. We’re new—opened in March—so your registration doesn’t show up here.”
Maybe that’s true, maybe not. But for a company pulling $750 million a year, that kind of tech inconsistency feels absurd—especially when it affects the customer experience directly at the point of purchase.
He then tried to book the ticket for me manually—but here’s the punchline: No benefits. No perks. No explanation. Just a final line tossed out like an afterthought:
“We only give discounts on Tuesdays.”
Nothing matched the B&B app’s promises. No resolution. Just… dismissal.

My Issues with the Experience:
Hospitality matters. If your body language feels like an MMA staredown, this might not be the role for you. Customers should feel welcome, not like they walked into a cage match.
Incomplete answers = broken trust. If you don’t know the full story, say so. Don’t make customers put together puzzle pieces you can’t explain yourself.
Learn the standard. Hospitality is a skill. There’s training for it. And if you’re representing a national brand—act like it.
⸻
Yes, I ended up buying the ticket. But I left with a sense that something wasn’t right. It wasn’t about the ticket—it was the way the whole interaction felt. Cold, unclear, and off-putting.
Just to add— Don’t judge someone by the clothes they wear or how they sound. Pay attention to how they carry themselves, how they speak to others, and whether they show basic respect.
That’s what real...
Read moreWas denied access to watch a scary movie with my minors as they requested to go see movie. My soon to be 8 year old asked the so called manager why we couldn't view the movie as we weren't even given a chance. I request to talk to the general manager of theater and was told i couldn't as there was none on duty. I booked the tickets online and submitted age information with my booking. No where posted or was shown this policy. Individual refunded my tickets however shorted my refund as he stated ticket fees were unfundable. Why should I loose money to a show I was denied access too. A fun mother's day movie show turned into a night unforgettable as two of my children were in tears as there night was ruined. I will be looking into further actions for this. Completely illegal to remove a family, however, be told i could bring them to the same movie at different show times! Family oriented is not this theater as they have young managers without the knowledge of what can and can't be done. The original gentleman that checked us in was as confused as I was as the customer. Gentleman even stated why does this matter, they're with there parent. Even told him we were the only ones for this booking! Which was true as I could book any seat as all was available. Highly disappointed how we were treated on mother's day. Asked to be reached out and talk to general manager was told to come back another time as there is no one to talk too nor did he have any means to return my funds that I...

I'm a audio engineer & audiophile.
The movie itself was amazing but the lack of proper sound tuning in regards to the theater speakers really made it less enjoyable.
The sound system either has a sound profile or eq applied to boost voices, treble and cut mid bass. The drums in rock songs or strong drum style synths in the movie had 0 energy. Sub bass however did existed but needs to be turned up at least 3-5db
The sound profile definitely need help. It was fatiguing in the high end.
This theater in my opinion was very clean, the seats are nice and heated if you turn the feature on but the lumbar is fatiguing for a person of slim BMI. Then again for a theater they & I would want a longer lasting seat that needs less replacement so I'm honestly okay with these as they are essentially brand new & need broken in.
To put all this in a conclusion, I saw the movie again the next day (sep 12) at AMC IMAX. The sound was acceptable and enjoyable just slightly loud. I'd much prefer the AMC just due to the sound alone however it still wasn't neutral.
I believe if b&b theatres focuses on sound they will strip business away from amc. This is the second b&b theater I've been to that sounds like this. So it...
