I eat at Panera a few times a month, this particular Panera Bread is awful. The first time I went, the restaurant was having many issues happening, the manager was on his personal phone in front of customers while working, a different customer was having issues with getting her order due to it not being correct, I ordered a mocha blended with whip and a bagel with plain cream cheese. The first bagel the manager on the phone placed in the toaster, then ended up burning the bagel. They were going to get me another bagel I then asked for it not to be toasted due to time I didn't have to wait any longer. Then my mocha blended turned out to be a mocha hot. I asked them to remake it because that was not what I ordered. The person making my drink did not know what a mocha blended was. I informed her it is coffee frozen with mocha flavoring. Once she understood it took 7 minutes for me to get my second drink. I thought okay maybe they were having a bad day. Today was my second trip there, the restaurant was not busy at all. I ordered the same coffee drink and a sausage scrambled egg on ciabatta. The wait time for my sandwich was impressive. It was made in a good amount of time. but I waited a good 15 minutes for my drink. I get to my place of employment which is right down the street and when I went to eat my sandwich, it looked like something out of a TV dinner box from the grocery store and it tasted like it as well. I was very disappointed. It was super greasy, there was food bits on my ciabatta that did not belong on my sandwich, so that tells me that they do not clear off their equipment before making the next sandwich, the egg was very oily and gross. Read moreWhile the food isn't bad, everything else IS! I've tried online ordering TWICE and both times was a complete mess. The first time I showed up and the order wasn't ready and they had no idea what I was even talking about. Keep in mind you pay ahead online and receive a confirmation with an estimated time of completion. After they had to ask what my order was because they couldn't find it, it took 15 extra minutes (now 45 min after my given ready time) to get ready. Fine, I figured a fluke and I'd try again just because I actually like the food. Nope. Second time placed the order and showed up to pick it up. I even gave them 10 extra minutes to get it ready. They advised me it was ready on the pickup shelf. I got home back to work to eat it and WRONG. This order was someone else's and had a receipt that showed it had been sitting at the pickup station for 3 hours!!! I called to let them know. They had no idea what had happened to the order I placed and actually belittled me by asking if I just pick up any order without checking? Well, they had pointed me to the shelf and told me they only had 1 pickup order so they were apparently so sure that it was correct. I simply requested a refund because I didn't have the time to come back. I couldn't even eat the wrong food that was given to me because it was so cold and had been sitting for so long. Read moreI live closer to 3 different Panera Breads but I came to this specific location on Tuesday May 27th for a work lunch. While I was there I ordered a kids meal to bring home to my child and 3 cookies. After the work lunch I picked up the only bag with my name from the online order shelf and went home. Opened the bag and all 3 cookies missing. I felt bad for not checking at the store and immediately called. I was transferred to the cafe and I told the lady (no name given) the situation. All she said was “I’m so sorry about that all you have to do is come in and show us your receipt” I said I don’t live close and I’m still on the clock so I would have to go a different day. Is all I need the receipt? She confirmed “yes all you need is the receipt” I work 2 jobs so I have been unable to make it back myself and asked my mom to grab the cookies today 5/30 before any more days pass. She lets me know the hassle and attitude from the workers and manager to get 3 cookies. They kept saying the call from me was not written in their log book. Eventually the cookies were given to her. Now I’m upset because it is not my responsibility to log my call for them, it is the employee who took my call to log it. Do not give customers attitude for your lack of training.
