The Spa at River Ridge — Attraction in Washington Township

I went here for my first time ever and in fact, my first full-on spa experience. I pampered myself and I got a hot stone massage, facial, and pedicure.

The hot stone massage was amazing and Abigail did an amazing job at quickly going over my concerns and walking me through the experience. She really dug deep and I felt like jello after everything was done! She was very professional and kind. When I was done she walked out so I could dress and greeted me with a glass of water.

The facial was probably my most favorite part (if I had to choose). It was the first facial I ever had and Lesleigh customized my experience to my skin’s needs. It included arm/hand massage and hand warmers! She had a fun personality too! The chair was extremely comfortable and the smell of all the skin care she was applying was SO nice. My face looked/felt like glass after!

My last service was the shellac pedicure. This part was just okay. For what I paid, I could’ve gotten something much more thorough elsewhere. I was with Dawn, who was very nice and conversational - but I also felt like she rushed through the whole thing a bit, which was a bummer. The scent and color choices are a little underwhelming. But I will say that where you get your pedicures is nice! Seat was comfortable and you’re facing windows overlooking the pond! It was a bonus that it was such a beautiful day!

Let me start by saying that the owner, Peggy went into the salon when they were shut down due to the pandemic and put together touch up hair color kits for their clients to pick up and do at home. The order and pick up process was extremely safe. I never had my roots showing during lockdown and that in itself, was AMAZING. That and the fact that she continued to pay her employees during the shut down made me a loyal client for life!

I have been getting my hair colored by Erica Harrington for the past 1.5 years. I have dark brown & gray hair which, thanks to the magic of hair dye is blonde! I had several bad experiences finding a colorist when we first moved to Columbus from NYC. Erica was the first person to actually listen to what I wanted and she got it perfect the first time around. I also have curly hair and do not trust to get it cut at a non-curly hair salon. In June I went in and asked Erica for a specific style and to cut off 6 inches for a bob type cut. She was again, brilliant!

I have always had pleasant experience there and you can tell they really care about the safety and wellbeing of their staff and their clients. They have fantastic business hours so you can get your hair done even before or after work!

Got a massage, facial, and pedicure! I spent around $400. The massage and facial were really nice. The staff was friendly. This was my first time here, and I spent like 6 hours at the spa. I was hoping to relax in a robe for the day, and go to my different appointments. I came with a duffle with clothes, and the person who welcomed me, brought me up to the waiting room, but didn’t show me locker or changing rooms. So I didn’t even know there was robes until I left. I had no where to put my things. There was a waiting room, but it had outdated and uncomfortable seating. It would have been much nicer if this area had some lounge chairs to relax in. The welcome lady offered me water when I came, but nothing after that. I was there for 6 hours, and was never shown the refreshment area. There wasn’t any staff that came by other than the next service person to check in.

The services were good, and the ladies were friendly, but the overall experience wasn’t tranquil like you look for in a spa. It was somewhere I would go to just get something done and then leave again, not somewhere I would go to spend more than an hour.
