Today was an open house for the co-operative play and the teacher Ms. Bianca wasn't welcoming at all. We brought our little one and we didn't see on the website that parents shouldn't bring kids to the open house. Okay, sorry we didn't notice that on the website but this teacher was rude and she asked us to go out with our baby girl! Our baby was only watching the other kids and was curious to listen to the story time that one parent was reading to all other kids. Also, our child was concerned because she has to see the place where she is supposed to spend a lot of time... This teacher can excuse us specially if our baby doesn't bother the class or be nice and more communicative without agressing us. We decide to stop here and not enroll our child due to the behaviour of this teacher and her lack of communication. She spoke loud and she was so stressed. We were received by a nice parent who was supposed to manage the open house and unfortunately this teacher demotivated us to follow the visit. DPR administration, I think that you should welcome the visitors with kids to be sure if they will like the place or not. Also you should manage better your open house and improve the circumstances to receive new parents. The place was small and noisy to stay focused with the parent who managed the open house. Very bad and...
Read moreIt's nice that the park has climbing and slide structures for small, medium and large kids. What is so horrible and why I continue to have a bad time at this park is that it has become a graveyard for large toys which distracts kids from what the park has to offer. Parents bring their old large toy cars, pushing/walking toys and much more to the park and just leave them. Most of the time they are broken and they just sit there getting rained on (see also: mosquitos). Parents think they are doing something nice by "donating" their toy to the park but I find it to not benefit the kids and believe the park would be better off without...
Read moreGreat neighborhood park. Good range of play equipment toddlers through 10 year olds. Which may be a drawback, larger kids are moving fast in proximity to the children that are just figuring out how walking works, which sometimes leads to anxious parents/caregivers. Play area has padded rubber chip ground to reduce fall damage. Plenty of donated toys to share, but many are well loved. Small indoor space seems to be for scheduled preschool activities but there are public...
