I have had four dental crown bridges on my upper front teeth for over a decade. Before I came to Washington, D.C., for my study, I had the bridges placed by a dentist back in Myanmar (my home country). It was back in June 2023. Once I arrived here in Washington, D.C., I started feeling sensitivity and mild, lingering pain under the crowned teeth. I am an international student, and I have no dental insurance. My university also does not provide dental insurance. But I went to nearby dental clinics for a bite adjustment on the high crown. They charged the prices (I won't mention the costs.) But the pain and sensitivity did not go away. I still feel there are some high spots on the crown that trigger sensitivity. Therefore, I decided to go to "Radiant Dental Care" and have consultations and more bite adjustments. Dr. Jay, first of all, listened to me carefully and then checked my teeth (the crown bridges) and made the necessary minor bite adjustments. He explained, patiently, to me everything I should be aware of regarding my teeth's health. He suggested I wear a nighttime mouthguard, either a customized one or a ready-made one available at CVS. Normally, a customized mouthguard costs between $ 500-600. He even offered a customized one for only $200. He also told me I can buy the ready-made one (it comes with $15 or $20) at CVS, searching and showing me on his computer. After the consultation and bite adjustment were done, he said he wouldn't charge me anything, and he did not charge me a penny. I was so happy. Because I am an international student, I am broke. Even $50 or $100 is a lot to me. I can save them for meals for a week. I am so grateful to Dr. Jay for his sweet, kind, and generous welcome and treatment at the clinic. Please continue your kind work, especially for international students who mostly cannot afford dental and eye treatments here in the United States. I am so impressed by his generosity and sweetness. His act will be one of the most memorable impressions I have had during my stay here at MDV in the...
Read moreIâve been a long-time patient of Dr. Jayâs, even before he came to Radiant Dental Care, and he is the best and MOST HONEST dentist Iâve ever met. Dr. Jayâs most distinct attribute is that he will tell you EXACTLY what you need or donât need. My previous dentist said I needed multiple root canals that would cost me tens of thousands of dollars. When I went to Dr. Jay for a second opinion, he showed me the x-rays and said that I simply needed a deep cleaning and didnât need the root canals. I was shocked and knew right then that he actually cares about his patients and will only recommend procedures that are needed. Believe me, you wonât find another dentist like him.
I recently came to Dr. Jay because my front tooth was in pain. It turned out it was fractured and I had an infection. Dr. Jay took it out, and did a bone graft and implant for me, which looks just like my original tooth!!! His attention to detail is amazing and it shows that he puts a lot of love and care into his work. Thanks to Dr. Jay and his staff at Radiant Dental Care for always taking...
Read moreDr. Siddiqui is as good as it gets! Very pleased with my experience and will recommend him to anyone who asks. My impression of the Dr. is that he is a patients-over-profits oriented doctor, who will never try to oversell you, cares about your health, and cares about his practice.
He is knowledgeable and thorough about his work, ensuring the work - even something as simple as a cleaning - is completed to satisfaction. His doctor-patient manner is gentle, patient, and he will answer all questions. He makes your teeth sparkle! I could not be happier with him and look forward to forging a lifelong relationship with him.
The office is clean and they are taking good COVID-19 health precautions between staggering appointments, sanitizing work spaces between clients, masking required, and taking temperatures at the door with hand sanitizer provided.
